Isn't that for kids?" and I thought, then, that telling other people what's for kids and what isn't seemed kind of childish, ironically and what's more, even as a kid, my brother never read comic books. so how would he know?

basically I'm saying my brother's kind of awful

DUE, I have some scotch here. Here in my living room. I won't drink it. It's just sitting there, not being drunk. It's good scotch, too. If only someone would drink it. Drink the scotch that is in Toronto. Toronto.

Well you know. I could get there today. But then I wouldn't be allowed back into the united states.

well I mean, everyone who is talking about it is here right now. everyone I can remotely speak for, from Jersey, would be able to hit up NYC probably any weekend of the year. the important people for when are the people traveling the farthest, which currently would be you and organichu.

Considering the strangeness that abounds here in D&D, I kinda expect more than getting wasted in some dude's living room. If by the end of the evening, no one's killed a hooker or created a make-shift flamethrower, I will be disappointed.

Well for me honestly it's not a hard trip at all. If I decided tomorrow at noon I wanted to be in NYC, I could shower and be in NYC by 3, probably, for $25 roundtrip. Buses and trains run in that direction at all times, and it's cheap.

It's just a matter of me being a put-stuff-off fuck.

Like, I would be up to regular chilling, I just don't see it happening normal-like, and because I can't imagine it being normal-like, if it is normal-like, I'll be kinda put out. When Sabs threw a party at his place, and I got so drunk that when he stole my shades and I chased him through his house and out the back, I thought I had killed him, that was not normal-like. That was how I figured folk from here would get down.

A given example is the bus that runs near me (the 57) leaves at 7:59 am from my corner. I could be at 3rd and Market by 8:14. I could then take the 48 to 12th and Market, be there by 8:22. Take the 8:30 R7 train to Trenton. Be in Trenton by 9:24. Get the 9:30 NE Corridor train. Be in NY Penn Station by 10:52.

So if I leave my door at 7:52 to walk to the corner, yes.

    Hah.

    3 hours!

    All for less than $30.

    Lovely Smarch weather.

And frankly anytime is great to come to Chicago, but honestly right around now is the best. Particularly since we're having a cool summer, rather than the more blistering temps that can happen, and the Jazz Festival is set to start next week. Otherwise Spring-Autumn avoiding the height of Summer, same as anywhere else.

I'll probably be there in I think two weeks to check out the city for I guess two or three days. Maybe one.

Would you not recommend traveling by car? If I do that it'll only be about 70 bucks versus the 200 or so for a flight. I just don't know what i'd do with my car once in the city.

It'd be $2.75 for the buses ($2 base fare, $.75 for the transfer up Market), like $6.75 to Trenton... and then I think $12.50 to Penn Station.

    So actually like $22.
