Also, I still find Shirley Manson hot.
Bleed Like Me was released in 2005 and was the band's last full studio album. Shirley Manson has recorded some solo stuff, but I guess there was some dispute with her record label and I think the whole thing got scrapped. She did play a character in the second season of Terminator on FOX.

if you want some epic lol moments you should call around to your local gamestops and ask them what the trade in value for GH:VH is. It's like they freak out and go crazy if the computer doesnt tell them what to do. I've had several people tell me i am a liar and that there is no way I can have it because its not out yet (but I can preorder..lol) one guy said said that I must have stole a preview copy of it. and one store told me that if I buy GH5 I can get GH:VH the day it comes out for free...but only at gamestop. (even though thats obviously not how it works AND the promotion is over)
out of 7 stores, only one guy knew what was going on and told me that it wont be tradeable until it comes out to purchase and even then he doesnt know if they will take the promotional copies.
I can't even remember the last time I straight up failed a song

I hear that.. I was able to 5 star cathedral on a sight read.. but failed both Eruption and Spanish Fly at about 65-70% on the sight read. I beat Spanish Fly on the second run.. basically tapping like a person who doesn't know how. Still haven't beaten Eruption, although I have only tried 3 times.
Yeah, I highly doubt they'd give you money for promotional copies.
Couple things about DJ Hero:
A - Just watched the Daft Punk trailer, that "We Will Robot Rock You" mash-up with Queen is neato.
B - It's fucking criminal Nine Inch Nails won't be in the game.
I'm not sure why this was brought up in the first place: many times in both GH and RB, other instruments are charted to the guitar and it almost always ends up being pretty fun.

Frankenstein in GH1 had a fairly long keyboard solo which was great. It was also much prefereable to doing nothing during that part of the song.
I also do not understand the "why don't you learn the real guitar?" arguement.

Oh man. Van Halen looks like crap. In fact, I'm sure they didn't do much since the E3 build.
This is my only problem with the game. It looks like they did alot of work on the Van Halen facts, and the character models of the three main band members. But it seems that at some point they just stopped and probably rushed the rest since deciding that it was going to be a sacrificial lamb to their almighty GH5.

I sometimes get great enjoyment out of people using that argument IRL. If I'm at a party or bar doing a Guitar Hero or Rock Band night and some asshole goes on about that subject, I politely tell them that I do and then start asking theory questions like, what they think of particular voice leadings or if they can do a traditional spanish/classical tremelo.

I find Danny awesome because he's 100%ing these songs and doesn't even use Breakneck Speed to do it, and I've seen people at SH that it just pisses them off about that and I find it hilarious.
