No, Long Island, New York. I'm unsure if it really is pointless to fly since it's an hour or two to get there. I'd spend more time waiting for the flight and driving an hour to JFK Airport than on the plane. I'm just very cautious with driving, never have driven for longer than a half hour despite having my license for close to three years now. Not too certain how I'd like a three or four hour drive.
However, it would be good to have a car present for the three days rather than having to walk everywhere or get a cab. And we do have a GPS and an EasyPass. Pretty much boils down to my parents; do they want to pay for a round-trip flight, or allow me to attempt a solo road trip?
9 hour drive to Boston seems reasonable. Might as well go.

Well, neither shall be necessary for my mom agreed to let me drive and she'll fund it as my college graduation present. A good portion of the trip is actually spent on a ferry to Conneticut, and I will have the GPS, so she's more keen on me driving than flying.
Hopefully my friend wants to tag along so that I have a co-pilot for my first excursion.
