Anyone wanna help us with the annual achievement? It's my girlfriend, me, and a friend of mine. I'm currently trying to figure out the stupid grenade/rocket/dix jump.

Honestly? firefight is good enough to sell me on odst. I think we will have too many good players for this honestly. Us vs the AI will never stand a chance even with most of the skulls getting flipped on.

We kick ass.. but really... We go through a legendary campaign level with not many skulls on, and we have a total of like 80 deaths (at least). I think our legendary firefights will be short and sweet.

Damn, should have had the foresight to look up ODST shirts online a few weeks ago. So many good ones, even some of the Superintendent, but no way it would arrive by Monday.
Think I might head out to see if I can find anything at a store like Bob's; I've found shirts like the Dungeons and Dragons logo there before, so might get lucky.
Also, why is it that one of the tags for this thread is "brodst?" The term's been used three times.
Mongoose Mowdown is a pretty dumb achievement from a design standpoint, as it means that anyone who wants the achievement is practically guaranteed to lose the match and probably won't get the achievement that match anyway. Mongoose men are just big fat targets, ripe for the picking. My advice is to learn which maps have a mongoose in them in the first place, and when playing those maps, keep an eye out for players who are just standing around (I'd call them AFK, but there's no keyboard to speak of). Even with a perfectly stationary target you're not guaranteed to kill them off a good hit, so if you're lucky enough to find yourself in this situation, shoot em a couple times before going in for the splatter.
Also remember which playlists you can get it on. Sucks to get it in the wrong playlist and be all ecstatic and then crushed in the span of two seconds.

My advice is to ignore the multiplayer achievements altogether because I feel that stuff is always bullshit. Don't have a Live Gold account? Too bad, you get to miss out on most of the achievements!
I personally don't care about achievements as it is, but multiplayer achievements other than "win this many games" always piss me off. They just encourage people to play like jerks and Xbox Live is crammed with them already.
