I liked that one guy in RSE who asks you where you're from, and all you can answer is YES/NO, and then he makes fun of you because your answer doesn't make any sense.
I've managed to max out the clock on five different Pokémon games: Yellow, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, and Pearl. I'm working on Platinum now (200+ hrs.) If you count the fact that I probably continued playing hundreds more hours (total) after the clocks were maxed out, this leads to the conclusion that...
Goddamnit, I want to be done with this Fire Red game.
I got the Ruby, met up with Lorelai and the rockets beat them, found the goldeen need log password, solved a boulder puzzle with some sound "far, far away", found something called the lost cave (explain this to me), then found some grave stone for an Onix.
In other words, where is the sapphire and the other rocket password?
What am I missing?
I am going insane and just want a Mewtwo to transfer to my diamond game!!!
You should probably check Gamefaqs?
My strategy guide says, go to Ruined Valley and the Dotted Hole on Six Island for the second password and then you'll get the Sapphire after you clear out the Rocket Warehouse on Five.
Going through Lost Cave isn't neccessary I think. But if you want to, count the rocks in each room. 3, 6, 9 and 12, east, south, west and north. Like a clock.
In their defense, they do give you a manual that indicates which letter is what braille symbol.
I still have mine inside the box, so I have the Japanese sillabary in Braille form. I didn't get an instruction manual, though, but it would have been nice. I can't complain since I bought it used for 52 dollars and it brought three other games, a battery charger with an almost dead battery and a regular GBA.
I was using a Timid Synchronizer, but this works just fine.
Speaking of sychhronizers, I was trying to hatch one. I hatched 41 eggs looking for the nature hasty, not one came out with that nature. God, I'm sick of hatching eggs.
But my timid synchronizer did it's job with Shaymin.
Actually, now I wonder if I should go for a different nature for Shaymin, since my previous event one is Timid. Of course, I think of this now, after I've already assembled my Shaymin Catching Team. Oh well.
And I'm aware we're still running that tournament (I guess?), but with work going into overtime, and a nasty flu downing my coworkers right and left, I just don't have time right at the moment. But at least I'm on my third match!
My first jail, yay. I was wondering when that'd happen. Too bad it will last until November. I can't edit posts so someone will have to take my place when the thread reaches 100 posts.

Heh, neat thing to have, but I've always felt it's a shame I couldn't give Jirachi to more people. I also have the Eon ticket and the card reader. Thought I'd bring them to PAX this year (and hope someone would trade me a Mew in return, the SOLE Pokemon I'm missing in Advance gen), but I couldn't justify the expense any longer when my whole department kinda got laid off.
I have a spare copy of Sapphire I'd intended to keep restarting to get Jirachi's to give away, but I found myself playing the thing through again 'cuz I like Ru/Sa/Em so much
If I could get the Jirachi over to my copy of Emerald, I could clone it endlessly. Though there's the minor issue of how the disc only downloads to Ruby/Sapphire, and I only have one GBA. Hmm.

How and why?
I'd be willing to trade Jirachi + Eon Ticket (works on Ru/Sa only) for a legitimate Toys 'R Us event Mew. It was slightly depressing when I realized I'd missed the one chance to get the very last darn critter on GBA.
Of course since it's on GBA, that does complicate trades immensely. Any takers would have to be local ... and come to think of it, adults-only too.
Edit: Yep, just checked the rules, no explicit age limit for these forums (minors could be required to get parental consent). Just on principle, minors have no business meeting some guy "from the internet" to trade Pokémon, so sorry to any young hopefuls ^^.

Well, before I updated the Wii, I used the Homebrew Channel to copy the save and clone them. I left one copy of a save that has rare items and Mews by the lot, so I can just get as many as I want from there.
I have Mews and Jirachis and such on my GBA games. I don't think I've ever had the Soul Dew item.
The only Pokemon info I didn't get in my LeafGreen Pokedex was Deoxys.

Also, an idea occurred to me today. Instead of having intermittent tournaments, which can fall prey to players (or organizers!) getting lazy, why don't we set up some kind of stat tracking thing? Like, just every time we have a battle 'round here, someone records the results of the match, and every month we can be like "okay this guy is the player of month wooo" and they get the golden Luvdisc for a month. That kind of system wouldn't need to worry about new people showing up and wanting in or old people dropping out.

I've hatched three magikarp that were shiny, one riolu, and caught one weepinbell and one geodude.
I can only find pimp gold/mustard colored shinies!
