Has anyone played Undead Knights? It's a Tecmo hack'n'slash, from the looks of it.
I'm getting a Deception vibe from the design, which is a big plus.
There's a demo on the PSN. I wasn't impressed. Turning your enemies into zombie allies was amusing at first, but the game grew repetitive quickly and from the reviews I've read, the full game isn't any better in that department.
On another note, I've got $10. I'm debating between grabbing Creature Defense (sounds like a fun mix of CCG & Tower Defense) or a PSOne classic (maybe a Crash Bandicoot game, an RPG, or Soul Reaver). That is, if I don't just spend it on some Wii points for a SNES game like SMW or BoF2.
Yeah, Half Minute Hero rocks. I've completed the 6 modes, but I still need to go back in Hero 30 and get the best ranking on everything (and unlock that one level that just skips when I start it).
Half Minute Hero was such a pleasant surprise. I'm spreading the gospel on this game everywhere I can.
Good to know it's doing well.
Yep, Half Minute Hero fucking rocks. So much style; so much hilarity.
And yeah, I'm glad Marvelous' PSP games are doing well and making them money, after the tragic sales and losses they've encountered from their good Wii games.
I just got Half Minute hero to play on my CFW psp, its pretty fun so far. (Had to rip the iso, decrypt the eboot.bin and repackage it... what a pain)
I was going to wait till I beat Prinny, but I've given up on the final boss. Its an endurance kind of battle where you have to spam the attack button... I'll pass. (was fun till this last battle, I would have done it if I had a turbo button)
I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. That’s right, when you fail in this game, it gets harder. Why? Because fuck you is why.

I thought the latest Gen version meant you didn't have to repackage? Have you not upgraded to -D?
Also, apparently the reason why there's no 6.XX CFW released publicly yet is that it's not worth it at this time. It's like the jump to 3.XX where the internal structure of the device changed which would break pretty much all current homebrew and be needed to be recompiled for the new code.

All you have to do is memorize his pattern, and button mash like crazy. I killed him in ~2:10.
You want pain, look up the fight against Lil Asagi in the DLC stage.

I felt exactly the same way at first, but I ended up beating it. Two things that make the fight a lot easier:
1 - you can hit the boss without jumping a lot of the time. Just stand partially off the ledge.
2 - If you can survive towards the end of the time limit, the boss will stop attacking and charge up an attack, giving you free reign to wail on it.
UMD addon might be on its way from Logitech. Well that's a step in the right direction. If that comes out, I can pick up a go when the price drops along with that and still enjoy my current library along with downloading newer games as they come. But better yet it will give me a chance to play through my back catalog at my leisure and clear out a lot of those games so that I can have a more manageable number of UMDs if and when Sony ever decides to do the trade in program.

....or, y'know, you could just buy any one of the plentiful regular PSPs for vastly cheaper and wind up with a much less bulky monstrosity.

Who said that I have to have that thing connected to the Go 100% of the time? Basically it's something I could have in my bag for when I want to play a game from what will end up being my slowly diminishing pile of UMD games. Then when they are all gone I can just sell the addon contraption.

Oh sorry, forgot you bought a Go.

No, I never bought a Go, I have a brain in my head.

Oh. Well, in that case it's damn stupid to spend $250 on a Go and then turn around and spend $ however else on a bulky addon when you could just buy a regular PSP that does everything that package does for vastly cheaper.

I specifically said when the price drops, and that is even keeping in mind that all I have to do is trade in my PSP and I'll get a Go for Free.
Yes, it would be stupid to spend $250 on a PSP Go, because there have been several nice deals on the system already. I got my Go for $215 and I've seen even better deals since then.
i assume when the pspgo gets hacked, and if the addon comes out, it'll be a nice way for nearly-legitimate users to put their UMD collections onto their Go.

Yes there is its been rolled into cwcheat. But I couldn't get cwcheat to work. (not sure if its compatible with my version of cfw, memory stick or I was just doing something wrong)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but higher end PSP games drain the battery much quicker, don't they? Half Minute Hero ran almost four days on a full battery.
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth drained it in a day and a half.
Also, I really suck at this game, or I'm just not doing it right. All the monsters are way too powerful, and killing them gives almost no XP.

So those game download cards you see on kiosks, is it possible to buy those cards online on say Amazon or something for example? I would like to add a few PSP games to my wishlist but I want the digital versions so my thinking was that if Amazon sold the cards like they do at GameStop and Walmart I could just put that on my wishlist.
Very few PSN games have dedicated download cards (the majority of download cards you see in the wild were included with PSP bundles).
Amazon sells standard PSN cards, though, so you could always just ask for the cards themselves.
Although Amazon also has specific game codes listed got a bunch of PS1 games, so I'm not sure how that works.
Yeah I'm just saying I see specific game cards on kiosks and I was wondering if those cards could be purchased online anywhere. I've seen them for SoulCalibur, Motorstorm, etc.
OK so I just bought a PSPgo used and up until today everything was working fine until I start getting a message saying "This content cannot be accessed on your account" message for all the games I've downloaded so far. Can anyone here help me?

Be forewarned that the price on the card might be higher then the downloaded game. For example the card for GoW: Chains of Olympus is $19.99 in stores and on amazon, but the game only costs 15.99 to download from the playstation store so your loosing $4. General PSN cards are always the way to go to avoid the problem above.
Edit!!!: Just checked to confirm and found GoW: CO to be 19.99. Sony must have upped the price to correspond with the card because it was still15.99 like a month or so ago.

I hear the version of Tetris on the PSN is one of the better versions around.
Echoes (a PSP Mini for $3) is a really good Action/puzzle game.
