Sadly (for me I suppose) he still pulls out about 3K-3.4K DPS on boss fights, which is still anywhere from 3rd to 4th on the PDS meters dpending on who we bring along that night. I honestly do only squeak by him about 500DPS so there's not enough of a gap to cause alarm in the rest of the guild.
It's more of a, dude if you'd just be swords/maces, or switch to Mut, with the gear you have over me you'd be hitting 4K easily.
If 3400 dps was good that would be one thing, but that's like ilvl 200 DPS.
...For what class? I was barely breaking 1800 in 200 gear on my warrior in Heroics.
When talking about DPS numbers, don't compare yourself to other classes. That's foolish.
I think everybody knows that Warriors are ultra gear dependent, but 1800 is still too low for a Warrior in ilvl 200 epics.
I would if I were on an RP server. They agreed to follow certain rules when they chose that server, and I don't really think that Lolistabyou is an appropriate name.

I reported someone outright (I even opened a ticket and spoke to a GM to make sure that person got his/her name changed).
The name was menstrualbld. Not really sure how that one got by the name generator filter, then again don't really care so long as I never see it again.
There are some names that are just uncalled for.

hahahahahha menstrualbld, that's fantastic
i find it funny how names piss you guys off so much it's like "whooo offensive". paper skin etc
Also, damn, my rogue is getting geared to shit lately. I got the daggers I wanted (Webbed Death and The Black Knight's Rondel for starters) and now I'm doing like 7k dps and ilevel 245 stuff is dropping left and right for me.
Guess the rogue's back to her old role of premier dps if shit needs to die quick--won't ever abandon my shaman, though.
I guess I am just not really offended by people's names on my internet game. What do I care what some kid thought was simply hilarious. It's not affecting me. The only name I can see complaining about is something racist, which is always over the line. I mean, sheetbag? That got to you?
The other night I raided with a chick who's name was Whofhearted. Pedestrian, sure, but it was enough to make everyone chuckle when the raid leader assigned her to do something.
Is somebody named Sheetbag really that disturbing to you that you would take the time to even report him and follow up on it?
I personally don't care about people's names and won't report them...until they do something that actually does affect me. Like some hunter named Khuntz that asked me to make him the TOC LW chest. He then asked me to link it two more times. Then he took almost 25 minutes "getting the mats for it" which of course he hadn't taken the time to look up himself previously. Then "his hearth was down" so I had to go to Ironforge and waste my own hearth. After all this time of mine wasted he tips me 20g...
I just cancelled out of the trade at that point and mailed it to him and sent him a tell that he just wasted my time, so I felt justified in wasting his as well. Then I reported his name to a GM for being highly offensive and he was forced to change it.

hahah, see, this is pettiness that I can get behind.
I'm definitely in the crowd of people who will only report a name if the person is annoying to me in some way. I expect 99% of people who play WoW to be functionally retarded, so when they're named as such it does not surprise me. Of course, if I was somebody who had a 13 year old kid who played the game I could see how you might not want your kid exposed to those names. Of course, in all honesty my own 13 year old would probably have heard all the obscenities from me before ever playing WoW, so that's not even a concern.
they pay the same monthly fee you do! get off your high horses eh what pip pip
They pay the same monthly fee, and play under the same naming guidelines as determined by Blizzard. Blizzard is the one deciding whether a naming violation is bogus or not. Neither playing WoW, nor having whatever name you want, are a right.
People getting upset by reporting is funny. I mean to say that it is enjoyable.
Seriously. It's something that has no impact on them, but they get all whiny over it. It's the kinda shit you expect to see out of a couple of five year olds whining about tattletales. If it's not your name being changed, why would you even care?

his name was sheetbag
Hope: The proposed changes make it to live
Hate: 3.3 isn't here yet :[

Bullshit. It should an undead.
Then why the fuck is there a report naming violation option dipshit?
Hey guys guess what? There is a TOS you agree to when you play that includes naming rules!
I am sorry, but if your name has some level of body fluid in it I will probably report you. Especially if your name contains any reference to feces.
Why? You have a shitty name.
But this is the wrong thread for this.
There's an option for lots of stuff.
Doesn't make it your job though. Or not a narc.
Narcs.
Hey- I wasn't offended by the name so much as the flagrant disregard of the naming policy.
Big difference. I hardly have paper skin. I just don't like people who break rules in a flaunting jovial manner.
Hope: Swift Retribution
Happy: 25m Heroic Beasts down
Hope: Jarraaxus!
Hope: For a perma-pet for priests. Mages get one now, where is ours?
Happy: 4k DPS get!
My point is this
Hate: five emails from blizzard when you report someone
Happy: I can be a "narc" with the naming policy
