It was lag everywhere I went in the game even worse around the tourney
I hate the fact I had to play the dangerous game of attacking the champions first for the lancing daily in order to help complete it for my brother and vis versa
Hurrah: Hit level 80 this morning. Was asked if I wanted to heal for a heroic, I said ok. They invite me, I hearth to Dalaran, and roughly 30 seconds after being invited, I'm kicked. No explanation given. I then go on to do 4 heroics and a Ony-10 oneshot PUG. Starting to collect those emblems...
Odd Excuse of the Day: A mage in our Heroic VH group pulled aggro and died. What happened? He says his girlfriend leaned over to try to kiss him and blocked the monitor. How that leads to dying, I'm not sure, but it's probably one of the better ways to go.
Hate: Whenever a guildmate of mine recovers from an absence (computer problems, account issues, money trouble, tired of WoW, etc) two more seem to take their place. Only being able to get three people together at any giving time sucks.
Happy: Not sure if I posted, but Exalted with Brood and an owner of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands leaving me with 1 more rep away from The Exalted title.
Happy: Revered with Warsong
Hate: The BG rep grinds are terrible. A shutout means no rep at all, and in WSG's case there's a max of 105 rep per game (135 on holiday) and since no one gives a shit about BGs I can't find a good premade to stomp these out with.
Hope: I'm waiting until the Thanksgiving holiday to do the Bloodsail/Goblin rep part of my insanity title just in case, I hope it ends up mattering or else I'll have waited all this time for nothing.
Hate: Probably one of my Insanity reps will be exalted before either of AB or WSG will be.
Amusing: Actually won a IoC without controlling docks. Both sides threw the majority of their forces at the docks in a grindfest. A couple of Horde hit hangar and workshop. Alliance finally won the battle at docks, but not before Horde had all of the demos pounding on the side gate for a while and the siege already out.
Despite what people say, Docks are not the key to IoC. In particular, the glaives have less than 40k hp (either 35k or 30k) and no real defenses once they are attacked. It's easier to destroy the glaives with about 3 people and spend more energy keeping the Workshop, the Refinery, and the Quarry.
Demos with +30% siege damage break down the walls pretty quick.
I know this is a couple of pages back, but Glaives seem to be bugged, and have been bugged for a while. Bugged in the sense that if horde are using them, they have 35k health, while if alliance are using them, they have 50k.
If people support them, then they won't die. They'll just merrily sit out of range of the fort cannons, and blast away. You're lucky if you have 5 people in your base defending not actually being afk to go deal with them. The thing is, baby sitting a seige engine that takes quite a while to destroy a gate, isn't fun in any sense of the word.
What I don't get in IoC, is people rushing up to fight outside the fort, not even with charges. They just fight there, dieing, being useless. I would get annoyed with it, but I just defend by sitting in a cannon, killing the other side doing the same thing. If you hit someone dead on, that's an 8k hit, and you can usually hit them a 2nd time before they start to make a move. It isn't damage you can ignore.
Hate: I'm bugged and can't get treat bags. It appears to be a code issue; I get the debuff placed on me and then the innkeeper attempts to give me the bag, I get an immune error, and receive no bag.
We are currently experiencing an issue with the Hallow's End candy buckets that is affecting the Trick or Treat Achievements for this event. Certain candy buckets in Northrend, once looted, are preventing characters from looting some of the Candy Buckets required for the Trick or Treats of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Outlands. The current way to work around this is to get the candy buckets from Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Outland before doing any in Northrend.
Note, doing the Achievements first will prevent some of the Northrend Candy Buckets from being intractable.
We are actively working on a resolution for this and will provide more information when it is available.
Update: At this time please do not submit an in-game ticket on this issue, doing so will not result in a faster resolution as we are still working on the issue and will provide more information when it is available. Thank you.

An outside chance, but just in case: You're not a druid, are you? If you're getting tricked instead, but are in a druid form at the time, you might get the immune message without any visual feedback that you were tricked.

Happy: I can post on the forums while my model is rendering. It's the architect version of "It's okay, my code's compiling"
Happy: Hallow's End ambiance. Needs moar pumpkins.
Hope: To get the 2x pets, 1x helm and 2x toothpicks I need for the RNG achievement portion of the event. Yes, I'm now doing it across the other 5 toons that are 75+. And I have a full time job and a relationship. Who needs sleep, right?
Super happy: Picked up guy with 7 alts for our mount farming runs. We now have 30 summons/day among the 5 of us.
Hate: YAY The mount dropped.... CRAP we're somehow all on alts for that pull. Grats [random DK alt]. >.<

I am, I'm in night elf form. I'm not experiencing issues with the candy buckets for the achievements, I can't get treat bags or tricks from any innkeeper from the game. I'm going from town to town and trying it when my debuff falls off and still failing to do so. All I know is if I don't get a bag per hour mailed to me by a GM and I miss my last achievement (toothpick) because of this, I'll probably quit the game. Not waiting another year to do one achievement to get my mount.

If that mount ever drops when I'm in a group, I will offer an insane amount of gold to whoever wins it (because there's no way I will with my cursed dice). I must have that mount.
Happy: Astonish has earned the achievement [Level 80] (#6)
Grats!
Now that I've started onto the heirloom stuff, the altaholism is in full swing. 2 x 80 down (Rogue, Druid) the Mage is 72.5, and then I'll push the Warlock and Priest up from 70 to 80.
As long as I do the daily heroic with my druid, I should easily have enough shards/badges for the plate chest/shoulders, at which point the Warrior, Paladin (70 apiece) and Deathknight (only 60) make a dash for 80, back to the druid for more badges/shards if needed, and then it'll be the Hunter and Shaman's turn. Given that they're both 70 already, I figure I might have a full account of 80's by the end of the year, depending on how much playtime I manage to put into them.
The biggest concern is cash; I need at least 4k for dual specs for the 3 plate wearers and the shaman (the dps classes don't need a second spec that badly), another 5k to get all 5 of them cold weather flying, and whatever it'll cost me to buy the DK flying and epic flying (6k?). I have 5k on hand, so I need to earn another 10,000 gold to round everyone out. Luckily, AH'ing some of the herbs I've been snagging on my druid earned me a tidy sum, and just doing ~3/4 of Borean Tundra is worth a tidy chunk of change, so I figure getting even 1-2k per alt on their run to 80 oughta cover costs pretty well.
Which is a really long, drawn out and wordy way of saying Fuck Yeah, my alts are going to be flying in style while levelling really absurdly quickly! 10 x level 80 with epic cold weather flying on each of them and a second spec on any class that can tank or heal.

OMG SHUT UP
I actually did make a chart at home. I may have made a better chart this morning in Excel. >.> It may have just the initials of the achievements and class colored columns so my coworkers don't question it. <.<
It's not really as bad as it seems: I have 2 accounts so when I do the [Fly all over the damn world] achievements they're done in pairs. And I multitask for stuff like that anyway... I ended up cleaning my condo, doing like 4 loads of laundry and rearranging my living room while the twins were flying around grabbing candy yesterday.
"Yea I need that achievement on somebody..let me consult my spreadsheets."
Guy in my guild is amazing at alts. We went to 5 different heroics and a VoA and he switched alts on each one, got exactly what he wanted off the last bosses also.
I spend about 15 min a day and I have somewhere between 150-200k at any given time, not including the value of random stuff. (I have a dozen Nobles cards and a few hundred eternals/gems/etc) And I've spent maybe 150k on mounts/leveling trade skills/alts gear/random crap. I started with around 30k in June.
Ish is there a way to make that kind of money with JC? That blog is mostly talking about his glyph business, and I'd rather not level up a new profession. Though I guess I haven't really been using herb that much lately.
Yes, but it helps if you have an transmute Alchemist...
I've made around 40k off 3 metas (I'm not telling!), but most of the profit is in buying the Eternals/Green gems and getting the extra procs from transmuting them yourself. If you don't have an Alchemy alt, befriend one. Scan the AH for stacks of Eternals and buy in bulk when they're cheap.
(That's really the key to making money regardless of profession; buy low sell high. Don't be afraid to throw stuff in the bank for a while if part of the market "breaks" from say, some guy that just leveled Engineering now selling scopes for 10g a pop. He'll sell his and the market will rebound)

Also, most any epic red cut will make you money.
So hey....
wanna tell me?
Thanks, though. That really helps. Mostly I've just been squawking for tips for making cuts in trade, didn't really know what would sell well on the AH. I'll have to think about maybe getting an alchemist friend or maybe leveling one on an alt. At least with that profession I'd just have to funnel money to him and not level the actual character.
Some of his tactics don't carry very well to JC, but you can make that sort of money just the same.
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

Hate: Server is shitting itself. I don't know if it's the event or just a general server problem, but we're back to the good old times of 2 minutes looting. I just spent 10 minutes in a BG after it finished because I couldn't get out.

Ours was absolutely terrible last night. Instances were almost unplayable.
Oh wow happy: They're adding a function in 3.3 so you can check to see what quests you've completed. Loremaster just became 9001x easier to get! Not that I ever plan on doing it a second time, but I really don't wish that pain on anyone.

I thought i would tackle this before I faction/server transferred (I was worried that I would lose some quests in the switch to horde), but now I'll just wait for this. This list should have been out since day one. There's no reason not to have it.

Oh thank christ. Now i can finally figure out what the 5 quests I haven't found in BEM are.
Man, that Greedy Goblin blog is entertaining to read. Anti-social people (like, the mental illness) are really amusing, so long as they're far, far away from me.
I particularly liked the section where he offered to pay a guild to take him to Ulduar, and ToC, and found a few offers, one of whom took him to Ulduar, including hardmodes, and ToC, getting him some of the best gear in the game, and proving that money can in fact buy raid gear, if you have enough of it.

Answer: Yes the bag is a unique item and you can only have 1 of them on you at once. You need to open the bag before you trick or treat. The explanations of how Hallow's End works are available from the innkeepers. Please consult them before attempting to trick or treat again.
Should you require further assistance, please submit another help request the next time you are online."
