Xbox disconnects from Live every time a disc goes in

The title says it all, really. Anyone got any ideas why my account would sign out of live whenever a game starts up?

    Does it stay logged off or does it log off and then log back on again? If you have any more info it would probably be helpful.

    It stays logged off until I go back to the dashboard.
