There's a place in Seattle called
Shorty's that specializes in pinball. They have about 16 pins in a dedicated room, with drink tables and everything, all in thoroughly playable states of condition. They also serve some good beer, and do awesome gourmet hot dogs. Pinball, beer, hot dogs... I know, right? According to their website, here's what they have:
TENTATIVE PLAN IS 10:00 FRIDAY NIGHT (TONIGHT). SHORTY'S IS NEAR THE CORNER OF 2ND AVE AND BELL ST. BE THERE!

I went there last year with some friends from PAX and had a blast. Being a pinball enthusiast is becoming an increasingly depressing thing to be, so it's nice to find a place that still has some good action. If their list is correct, they have a nice mix of old and new games.
Would anyone be interested in meeting up sometime during the expo, probably after it's closed one night, and heading down there for some awesome pinball? It's a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the convention center. It's a full bar inside, so you do have to be 21+. If you're under 21 I honestly don't expect you to know what pinball is, anyway.

I'd love to get back there again, perhaps we could setup a dinner thing. There's a good noodle place a few doors down.

I am 27 so dont get me wrong, i am old enough, I just had my ID stolen a couple weeks ago and havent been able to afford to get a new one. (I won my tickets and all that) :-(
Would they card me once they saw I am balding already? LoL
Anyways, I would love to go but maybe gonna have to be next year. (I am gonna try though...)
:-D
And many of the tables I haven't seen in years.
This is damn tempting, if it's Friday night I'm totally there, but I'm going to the concerts on Saturday night (must see JoCo and Freezpop), and Sunday is the PPDP.

Not to mention a few brain cells... hey-o!
But seriously folks you throw enough brewskis down my gullet I'll wind up like Tommy the pinball wizard! Mute and mildly retarded! Buh-Dum-Tish!
...I'll see myself out.
Obviously it won't be Sunday, as I have a PPPD to run. Friday night is sounding good to me. We'll figure it out.

Was there last night. Didn't see one person get carded. You'll be fine.

HEY MAN! Good to see you!
Yep, same phone number. Tentative plan is for 10:00pm tonight! I will be there drinking beer and getting replays for several hours.

10? Damn. I'm not missing Frontalot tonight.
Someone asked about a PA pinball machine during the Q&A today though.

Indeed they did, sadly with Stern being the only company in the game anymore, I would rather not have PA table ever, then let Stern rape the IP.
