For those of us who are Muslim and fasting for PAX for the month of Ramadan, I was wondering where you guys would be breaking fast :). It would be nice to have a Muslim GTG. Hows about it?

I'm breaking my ramadan fast over at Porky's. They have some great bacon and sausage breakfasts, and they have a pretty good beer and spirits selection. You're welcome to join me.

While this was presumably meant to be funny, it seems to fail the prime directive of the forum. Show a little respect, please.

I would start hitting up Broadway for some choice foods that both kosher according to the Quran and halal.

There are also some good vegan places along Olive way that would meet the latter requirement.

Its kinda far to travel, but I know their are a couple of halal restaurants in the U District. The bus there runs right in front of the convention center. The 49. As for which restaurants, thats I'm a little fuzzy on, but ask around and you should be able to find something.

Oh shit, i forgot, there is a great middle eastern restaurant that caters to the late night partiers. Its on first avenue, near Yestler, a block or two down from the two shop. Polish dogs outside, middle eastern fair inside.

    Pioneer Square district.

I'm not Muslim or anything, but just one block up from the convention center is "Cyberdogs", a vegetarian hotdog place. They are open until midnight, so you can easily get there after sundown, and their food is great.

though I myself am not muslim, I know that Seattle is a rather liberal city ( I live nearby), so finding Halal foods won't be hard.

The patrons of Seattle would protest a protest just for the sake of protesting :)

Well, halal just means the animal was slaughtered humanely. Technically, pork can be halal, you couldn't eat it, but it would still be halal.

Are you delusional? A simple google search will disprove everything you claim here.
