Not when the point is to spread it as far as possible and get dumb people to believe it.
I don't think at this stage there are many people at all who are actively trying to get anyone to believe it. Have you seen the website established? It's worse than The Onion.
If we have to label everything that is satire as satire, I'll fucking cry. If someone is too stupid to get it, I'm not sure that says anything about the person spreading the rumor.

the most they can do, at least in jersey, is only allow one cup of alcohol per person with valid ID.

You know, it amazes me the difference a day makes. I had the same opinion yesterday as today and all I got was attacked and insulted for it. Most of you still disagree with me but I'm getting some grudging acceptance and not being called an idiot repeatedly.
You know I'd love to have that conversation. In my case my wife IS over 21, she just doesn't like bringing her I.D. inside. She's not attached to her purse like some women are.
What would they do? Call the cops?
I'm pretty sure there's no right to alcohol in a restaurant even if you are over 21
so they could decide not to serve you for whatever reason
one of which might be a restaurant policy that everyone in a group has to be of age

Ok so I think I settled on a restaurant. She likes to be surprised, so I'm not telling her what it is. It's a little gourmet than what we usually go for (previously we've gone to a steakhouse, BBQ, fairly cheap Thai food, etc.), which I hope she's okay with. It doesn't have a dress code. There is outdoor dining. A romantic park is in walking distance.
