Pretty much.

So it seems PACT is full. This may have already been discussed, but it may be time to do a cleaning alt of inactive alts, and perhaps have a "main and one alt" only policy or something.
Not that we used the SG for much right now, but if we ever get in to the end-game as a group, we may use it more.

You're joking about DK's right? DK is probably the only class in WoW you can't face roll and win. Seriously, DK has some of the most complex and tight rotations of any class, especially for certain specs.

I hate PvP, but for shits and giggles, I went into SotA as frost, wearing only quest blues and crafted engineering shit. I came across 5 alliance and dove headfirst, just tab targeting and pressing random buttons.
Yeah, my idea is that we have a "main" guild, which is, duh, a guild for all our highest-level "main" characters.
Then we can have fun "theme" guilds like, for example, the New Hampshire Darkmagics for nothing but magic-themed toons.
A "CTS" Guild for nothing but dual and single-sword using toons who must, as a requirement, all have a CTS alternate costume.
etc etc...
But yeah, alts shouldn't be in the main SG, stick to one character per guild.
Is there a reason to be in a guild besides the tag on your character and the costume slot? If not then we can create as many splinter guilds as we want with no detriment since everyone talks in group chat anyway.
No one got a book. The book in the box is three pages of install instructions. Might as well not have been there. It tells you nothing about the game.
And, yes. Hold it down. The difference between tapped and charge powers is that charged powers will often have enhanced effects. You will see on "chargeable" powers that in their description there's a "on tap" and "on charge" description of each power.
So, with Might's Haymaker, you will pretty much always knock an enemy back unless they're a Super Villain. With Two Gun Mojo, you will do damage continuously through the charge. For a travel power, you'll be at maximum speed and won't have to go through the stages.
whats the difference between click and maintain powers? cause I've just been tapping the button on two gun mojo, should I be holding it down?
Oh god yes. Hold that bitch down
I don't think the "book" that came in my box said this anyway - you're not missing out on much. I guess there's a real manual on their website somewhere.

Well, the main reason right now, aside from the tag, is shared resources via the Guild Bank. Presumably, they're going to add super-bases or something eventually, so there would be more incentive to guild up then, but for now, it's mostly just for fun, I think.

Oh, PvP. Well, PvP in WoW is kind of laffo anyway, so that doesn't shock me.

It took a few alts to really figure out you need defensive/heals pretty early on other wise you are going to get faceraped.
All out offense from the get go is just going to get you killed.
I used to think this way as well but I think as long as you really focus on nothing but offense, you can pull it off. That's essentially what i've done with my Ice character, and apart from a couple frustrating moments I've been able to solo just fine.
Also having some sort of hold that can work on villains+ is essential to any pure offense build, anything you can do to prevent them from using a big attack or just stop them from blasting you for a little bit will help.
Also knowing how to use the block function is a must. It shocks me how many people just don't seem to get that if you see a huge attack being charged up, you really need to stop what you are doing, and block. Don't wait to finish your attack, or try and be slick and start the block right as the attack is coming towards you, please....just block.

I know people like to throw hyperbole around about wow, but if this is a true story then you came across five sleeping players, because if it was just 5 warlocks in blues pressing shadow bolt you wouldn't have been able to kill them before they killed you.
Basically I'm saying that you're exaggerating, since taking five people on in quest blues and engineering shit with random button mashing is impossible

Sorry bout tthat, I thought most WoW PvP was facerolling. God knows you can't faceroll in most WoW PvE, especially raids. I still think WoW raiding is the greatest gaming experience today. If they bring back Kael'thas, I'm going to resub. I'm also tempted to resub for Nefarian, since that was my second favorite fight.
Sometimes I press block and my character doesn't block.
That's always fun.
This is the single most annoying "bug" in CO, and I'm not sure it's a bug so much as a flaw in design. The fact that block can be very unresponsive, or just not activate all together, and unless you look down at the bar, you may not notice (sometimes the animation triggers, but the effect itself is not active, which definitely seems like a bug).

Yup i get the same issue sometimes, that's why you have to do it right away so if for some reason it doesn't block you have a second or two to make sure you get the block up.
I've noticed that the block has issues when i try to do it in the middle of a maintain, it takes a second for my character to realize I no longer want to maintain that ability but instead would like to do something else. Such as block that massive bolt of energy that Villan X is about to fire at me. I'll usually have to press it once or twice to make sure it's up.

Morv....getting hard to believe you here....unless they were incapable of hitting keys other than auto attack. The rogue could have stunned you once and your life would be gone. The priest would only have to heal once and you woulda been around too long. The hunter woulda been out of HB range or hit just by himself, since they have bows and stuff.
