I know people like to throw hyperbole around about wow, but if this is a true story then you came across five sleeping players, because if it was just 5 warlocks in blues pressing shadow bolt you wouldn't have been able to kill them before they killed you.

It was a ret paladin, sub rogue, enh shammy, survival hunter, and a holy priest.

I'm still calling bullshit, I have some of the best available gear on the highest damage aoe class in the game and I find that pretty absurd.

Remember when HB did double damage to frost fevered targets and barely had a cooldown?

Morv....getting hard to believe you here....unless they were incapable of hitting keys other than auto attack. The rogue could have stunned you once and your life would be gone. The priest would only have to heal once and you woulda been around too long.

its not bullshit, it was nerfed to shit though. you could nail 5 dudes with howling blast three times and kill them all before icebound fortitude dropped. The overpowered part was the fact that you could get triple diseases in unholy + killing machine would be up about 95% of the time. I would pull 7500 dps in greens before they nerfed it.

Now take your wow discussions to the wow threads.

I would, but SF4 and ChO have encroached on my WoW time, and I have thus unsubbed because I needed practice on SF4 execution. Have to train these crooked old NES box controller fingers for a fightstick :P

Who's up for Dr. Destroyer's factory this evening? The instances so far are insanely fun, even without proper party structure.

I don't think there is any limit to the number of powers. You can't summon like 4 bots by casting munitions bots twice however.

Apparently the summoning circle powers from Sorcery are going to get changed to Rituals later so you can have a summon out and another Circle at the same time

That would be awesome. I simply could not play with the one summoning circle pet until I got the advantage to be able to control him, because I'd always lay down the circle just outside the range of my eldritch blast, so I'd have to move then lay it down again. It took effin' ages. Then I'd end up aggroing before the pet was out, and then I'd die. :(

I dunno, I think a lot of people don't use the Crime Computer, or think because a mission is Green or Grey, they shouldn't do it. You should do every mission in your CC, and you should constantly check your CC for new contacts and get their missions before you level past them. Even if the mission turns green or grey, it's worth doing for the XP payout.

The problem really is that you'll end up having to spend lots of time/energy resummoning them constantly. And in PvP they become a sonic device liability :-/

I did every fucking mission possible, yes. they need a way to list/show missions you leveled past, because they still give great xp, and if people knew they missed they, they wouldn't be bitching at level 30 in MC zone chat.

This. Also, if you need to do nearly all of the quests to hit 40, they really should make the crime computer show all the contacts in that zone with missions.

Edit: to be clear, I mean it should show every single contact with missions. There are quite a few contacts that do not show up in the crime computer, and they need to show up. At least until there's enough content for them to be optional.

IIRC, you can only have 1 circle active at a time, so you can (currently) only have one of those summons active.

I think you could still possibly have Toys + Munitions + Healing + Zombies + Familiar + sorcery circle summon

Not entirely sure how effective it would be though.

The plug and play pack? That is strictly for charging. AFAIK you can't do anything else with it. The receiver is only $20 though, and almost worth the investment. Personally I preferred the Cyborg V3 pad that I got at Best Buy for $30. The analog and D-pad can be switched around for great justice.

Ah, it makes sense that Windows would detect it. If you're able to test the buttons in your device manager, you may just need different drivers, or perhaps a 360 controller emulator (kind of redundant) for it to work in game.

A "CTS" Guild for nothing but dual and single-sword using toons who must, as a requirement, all have a CTS alternate costume.

    etc etc...

But yeah, alts shouldn't be in the main SG, stick to one character per guild.

Is there a reason to be in a guild besides the tag on your character and the costume slot? If not then we can create as many splinter guilds as we want with no detriment since everyone talks in group chat anyway.

Yeah. I did not join the guild yet, but I would like too. But if we set up multiple versions of the guild that would probably be okay too.. unless there is some serious bidness to attend to in the future.

Yeah old missions still offer good experience. I think at level 20 I did some level 10-11 missions and they were giving me 40%-60% of the experience from level 20 missions... which given how easy they were to do was very worthwhile.
