Interesting blogs?

Though I've never paid much attention to blogs before now, I've suddenly developed a sudden hankering. I've only recently started visiting sites such as Kotaku, The Awesomer and Typography Served, and wouldn't mind some recommendations for a few more.

There's no particular theme that I'm looking for; I'm interested in a broad range of subjects (art/design, music, science, technology, nature/environment, cool stuff, so on...). The one thing I don't particularly want is news blogs, since I already have a few websites which I used to keep track of current affairs.

So, what would you guys recommend?

    Boing Boing Random interesting stuff.

BLDGBLG Blog about futuristic and artsy architecture.

    Pandagon Feminist/civil liberties blog.

Slashdot Technology/Open source news. The comments are usually stupid but it's an okay aggregation of tech news.

I also read io9 (science fiction) and engadget (gadgets) when I'm really bored.

I check these blogs for a good laugh, they're updated on a nearly daily basis:

This is why you're fat. - Ridiculous food combinations.

People of Walmart - Photos of bizarre people/things at Walmart.

Marginal Revolution is the best economics blog there is.

Bloggingheads.tv (check out my sig) isn't a blog, per se, but it's a great source for podcasts and video of various bloggers (the guys who are responsible for the things you're asking for) hammering out all kinds of interesting topics, often involving politics, but also science (biology, cosmology, all kinds of shit), linguistics, cultural stuff, the occasional movie review... basically bloggers spending 60-90% of an hour discussing interesting topics and the rest of the hour shooting the shit.

    I highly, highly recommend bloggingheads.tv.

Grease Truck sandwiches made it onto the "This is why you're fat" blog. Hells yeah, Rutgers!

Many cool things here, but I haven't had a chance to check them all out properly yet. Keep 'em coming, if there's any more to be had.

I'm not sure if it's the one you're talking about, but this reminded me of Alice and Kev, which I heard about a while ago and never got around to reading.

I'm not sure whether you'd consider this interesting or not, but I enjoy reading Men's Flair. It's basically a men's fashion blog, with tips (like don't ever fasten the bottom button of a suit/sports jacket) and articles and the odd bit of news. It generally concentrates on more traditional styles, which is what actually interests me.

    Stuff White People Like

Only updates rarely, but it's invariably comedy gold.
