Um... speaking of previews, here is a big ass preview of James Stokoe's hilarious goofy awesome Won Ton Soup.
ohnny Boyo could have had it all. Women. Money. Fame. As one of the premiere chefs in the galaxy, Johnny's culinary skills could have made him a star. So with everything he ever dreamed of his for the taking, why would Johnny leave it all behind to become a space trucker? Not even Citrus Watts, the girl he left behind, knows for sure. With the sizzle of life in the kitchen behind him, things were going okay for Johnny. Now after years out of the catering scene, Johnny and his pal Deacon are about to find themselves in water hotter than anything they've ever seen before!

Johnny will once again have to pick up the whisk and skillet, but will his eroded skills be enough to get them out of the craziest cook-off in the Universe?

And what good is a spatula against space ninjas?

It is one of my favorite comix and more people should check it out. You could a lot of it for free right there!

See, I was just gonna say, "Awesome."

Seriously, Won Ton Soup's a ton of fun. The story's pretty succinctly explained in the little synopsis Douglas quoted; a boy leaves home with unresolved issues, is forced to return and face them, and in the process is dragged into a competition to prove himself to his friends and himself. It's kind of a mash-up of Grosse Pointe Blank and Better Off Dead.

But that's just the framework for the story. What makes it so special is all the weird, creative minutiae Stokoe fills the book with. Ultimately, Won Ton Soup's worth reading because it's something very interesting and different in a marketplace that has a glut of the same old shit.

Newsarama has posted a preview for Deadpool 10

I heard that Way has actually not been horrible with this run, and I really like Medina's artwork, as well as the fact that Deadpool is getting a larger role to play in the Marvel Universe.

With that said, it's a little bit contrive Osborn's reasoning against sending his whole team. Or at the very least Sentry/Ares.

I've always been curious about Youngblood, i can't imagine that anybody actually buys the bloody thing, yet it never seems to go away. I can't imagine that Liefield really thinks that he's got some grand and epic story to tell with the thing, so why doesn't it just go away and die?

I think Norman is sending in Bullseye because him and Deadpool have a history, competition and such.

Plus he's a bit more subtle than the rest.

Yes, very subtle. Like the time he saved a woman, then stabbed her in the eye with a pen while a Helicopter was filming.

Booster Gold already reads better with Keith Giffen as the guest writer. I'd love to see him take over writing the series permanently, with Jurgens still doing art.
