Games I can play with one hand

While masturbating! (jk)

Hey guys,

I just had a major shoulder surgery and me left arm is going to be in a sling for the next month. Can't even take it out to eat. So, I am looking for some one-handed games! Traditional controllers are obviously out, but I have a Wii and will be able to manage the nunchuck in perhaps a week. Any recommendations for one-handed PC, DS, GBA, or Wii games would be greatly appreciated!

Please excuse me if this is poorly worded or strange-sounding, but I am on morphine right now.

We had a thread very similar to this awhile back, I'll see if I can dig it up.

You can pretty much play the Pokemon DS games with one hand, good way to waste away 30-40 hours of your life.

    Cooking Mama!

I think most puzzle/rhythm/adventure games for the DS can be played with just the stylus. Professor Layton, Rhythm Heaven, Elite Beat Agents, Phoenix Wright etc.

Obviously a ton of PC games. Might be a little annoying without hotkeys though.

Oh, yeah, I think I also remember a similar thread. Sorry for not searching first; like I said, I'm rather stoned.

Battle for Wesnoth - turn based strategy, easily controlled with just a mouse. It's also free.

Earthbound for the SNES, L, D-pad, start and select will do everything

Many RPG's and SRPG's will work too, I rememeber seeing a controller somewhere made to allow you to play RPG's with one hand even

Damn, Psyck0, why did you have to preempt all the amusing "nudge-nudge say no more" jocosities that would have resulted from your thread headline?

As for your request, I can mainly think of the Myst games, other such point-and-click adventure titles and the PopCap repertoire.

I know specifically Suikoden 3 because the control scheme maps the same face button options to the L1 and L2 buttons. I'm not sure is 4 or 5 does this but I do vividly recall 3 doing it.

IV and V have this also and I was going to recommend them too till I saw that it was his left hand he'd done in. As far as I can remember they are left hand only.

Puzzle Quest and Audiosurf would be my recommendations. Each are on Steam for dirt cheap.

Solitaire is a one handed experience.

You should be able to play Civ 4 with only one hand too.

Are they on the US PSN or just Japan? I thought I would have read about it if they had been.

Suikoden is out. How the fuck did I miss that.

Resident Evil: The umbrella Chronicles. You do need to attach a nunchuck but you don't have to use it if you don't mind not being able to adjust your character's view slightly. I played it with two wiimotes and it was perfectley playable since all the controls, sans the camera adjust are mapped to the wiimote.

Diablo and Guild Wars can be played one handedly, iirc. Oh, I'm pretty sure the original Neverwinter Nights was mostly mouse controlled, also.

If it is just your left hand, Patapon can be played without it, though you need to be able to keep a beat
