I'm kind of wondering where Tiger Woods's fifth fingers are.
I think this one's generally quite well-done, and the face is particularly amazing, but the pants look rough in a way I know is intentional, but isn't coming across as such. I think it may be that the contrast is a bit too high, and/or that it's not being applied in a way that helps define the form. The arms and hands also look distractingly simple in comparison to the rest of the drawing; I feel like there ought to be more structure, especially at the elbow and wrist ends of his right arm. His left hand also looks really wonky, but I don't know exactly how, aside from the four finger thing, but either way, the line at the bottom of the wrist there does bug me.
A lot of stuff, I suppose, so I do want to emphasize that this is, overall, amazing; you have great technique with your medium.
I absolutely love the style on Tiger, but something really seems wrong on the proportions. I think the torso and arms are too short and stalky, or maybe the head is just too big. I think just extending the torso another heads length, and the arms a smidge would do the trick.
Also, I really like the left side background, but not so much the right. Could just repeat the same thing across I would think, there's usually a billion people around Tiger at all times so...
Oh and I think the top portion of the hat is slightly favoring the right side, might want to straighten that a tad.
Looking really good. Love the face. Currently you have a cartoon kind of look going on with the proportions. As mentioned above He is looking really stocky, he needs to be stretched out a little and his head is to big.
Ken - I think this piece is really cool. The mood is great. It is celebratory even with the subdued colors. His pants seem rough compared to the rest of the piece. But I really like it.
It's good to have it as a focal point, I think it's just a little overpowering. He rendered it more cleanly, and he used a wider range of value on it locally, and psychologically speaking, if there's a face in an image, the viewer automatically wants to look at it -usually it's something you have to fight.
I think just a little less of a difference between it and the rest of the painting would've kept it focal, but not distracting.

@vampire: I like just about everything about it. In particular, that his teeth are at the top of the page so they have more focus and almost become his defining feature.

There, from chin to belt seems about 2.5 heads, yours is 1.5, a full head short. Granted we are talking golf, but even the oldest of golfers doesn't hike up the pants that high, and even still, the crotch would have to be lower.

I really don't feel this way, but that's just my opinion. I like that the face is the focal point.
