Ugh, I didn't see this movie until recently and people would be like you have to you have to, so I reluctantly saw it and I think it's one of my favourite films ever now

Bottle Rocket was not great. Tenenbaums was awesome, but I think I liked Rushmore more.

I adore this movie. I like Tenenbaums, but because I feel like a burned out loser at least half of the time, I prefer Zissou.

Did everyone like Darjeeling? Honestly I thought it was his weakest film so far. I liked Bottle Rocket a lot better. Not saying it didn't have its moments, but they were just moments.

I know what you mean. I found them to be films that you kinda need to just watch on your own. I actually don't think I'd enjoy seeing them on the cinema at all.

I love his movies but yes so many people clutch to them as their "artsy" thing they like

but really you can watch his movies and appreciate the writing and the acting and the characterization same way with any movie without digging deep

or you can dig deep and catch all the quirks and exactly how much personal flair and style he gives his movies. But really i don't find them too "deep" or whatever, they're all pretty straightforward and comedic.

I really like Wes Anderson's movies, but I wish he would do one that someone else wrote. They all exist in this weird, slightly parallel universe where people don't act quite right and things don't happen quite the way they ought to.

But that last scene in Rushmore?
"Well, at least no one got hurt."
    "... except you."
"naw, I didn't get hurt that bad."

UGH YEAH TWIST THAT KNIFE IT'S SO GOOOOOOD
