A court in North Korea has sentenced two US journalists to 12 years' hard labour, state media say.
:?Euna Lee and Laura Ling were found guilty of "hostile acts" and illegal entry into the communist state.
They were arrested in March after allegedly crossing into North Korea from China.

That's what I'm getting at. Isn't this a hostile act?
Man, we can't even get one kid out of Brazil. I have nearly no hope for these 2 reporters.
No man should have that kind of power.(Twitter)
but I know that's not the case
also holy shit that was a loud thunderclap and I lost my train of thought

and when he dies he'll be all "HAHA, GOTCHA MOTHERFUCKERS"
theres like a million of other journalists who already went in there, theres nothing much to see
but that's like saying "we didn't mean to trigger the bear trap, we just wanted to put our hands inside"
Granted, do that in the US and you get free money, but that's how we roll.
It's speculated that North Korea may have nabbed them in Chinese territory though.
HAHAHAHAHA

the 12 year sentence is really the more important part
apparently they might have been taken while they were still in china
I don't think it's too much of a stretch to imagine NK kidnapping people while china turns the other way.
Kim Jong Ill is pulling a Pony, and the country is going to be especially unstable while a successor is chosen and placed into power. Having two american hostages gives them leverage against the U.S., so we don't interfere.
fishing boats (specifically squid boats use lights for some reason)

Officially, sure. The Chinese government is no stranger to corruption, though. Bribes go a long way
They've been doing this shit for years. North Korea kidnaps someone or fires a rocket or does some other crazy shit and the West and a few Asian powers play along, give them aid, and tacitly approve of Dear Leader and his insane government doing completely unacceptable things to foreign countries (as well as their own people).
The North Korean government is scum and how we're treating them currently isn't exactly making things any better.
I've always wanted to get away from it all.
