Rachel is coming to the D&D thing so she had to make her character. I'm going to be playing my Barbarian after all, too, since I realized I hadn't read up on the Artificer at all and had no idea how to properly play one.
So this'll be interesting.

Also how much would it cost, as yesterday really wiped me out financially.
Rohnert Park. North Bay. Unless there's another Q-Zar southernly. If not, I'll just go with some of my friends here. Figured everyone would be tired anyway.

Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.

Google seems to think that the Rohnert Park one is closed. There's one in Concord. I'd be down to go, seeing as I had to flake out of this weekend's escapades and thus am not all adventured-out.
So I dropped Fishman off at the airport a couple hours ago. Today we went to Muir Woods so he could see the redwoods, then drove around SF a bit on the scenic route.
Driving in SF wasn't bad. I imagine parking is a nightmare, though.

It's all about having a strategy.
1) Find your destination.
2) Start driving around in circles until you find a spot. Meanwhile, avoid hitting other cars and pedestrians while getting distracted by what you think is a spot while it's actually a driveway.
3) 30 minutes later, park!

It's okay, I finally made it home, you can call off the search parties.
two points:
1) This was an insanely fun holiday. Thanks to everyone who helped make it so, either in person or through suggesting things to fill my days with. I didn't get a chance to try it all,but I did also want to leave some stuff for next time ;-)
2) Fuck me I'm tired. That's a long flight from San Francisco. I managed to watch : Transporter 3, Taken (hereafter referred to as 'Liam Neeson beats up everybody'), This is Spinal Tap, Ghost World and The Magnificent Seven. After a hike in the woods, a 13 hour plane trip, 8 hours of waiting in airports and other sundry travel time, I can now properly attempt to stay awake another 7 or so hours. Woo.

I got back okay, but it appears my Flash Drive was not so lucky.
I've had it a few years and was thinking about upgrading anyway, as it was only about half a gig of storage. I've lost the last couple weeks of campaign notes for D&D - basically the encounter notes for that big three-level three way fight I had a couple weeks back.
I probably shouldn't have put it in checked luggage.

Unfortunately, my sunburn has actually gotten worse since yesterday.
Hope you get better soon, DE?AD.
I had an amazing weekend; I was actually a little sad today knowing that it was over
I should be fine by tomorrow. I'm pretty much spending today recovering.
Just this morning?

Now excuse me, I'm going to play with my dog.
