    certainly it's fun when you win but it's so much more likely that you lose, and tonight I finally realized if I'm not having fun unless I win I shouldn't be playing. not that everyone should feel that way, but I do. having one night a week where I play cards and the possibility of being extremely pissed off comes up aren't great odds and aren't worth the financial possibilities. and getting angry at probability is no fun.

    luckily because my tv is freaking and I wanted a distraction I bought Knights In The Nightmare. it will also serve to distract from poker.

    I'm in the minority, but I don't like playing with people who always have to play for money.

    You know what? Sometimes I just like to play cards without worrying if I can have lunch for the rest of the week.

    I will never understand why people play most casino games. I guess something like poker is a little different but I wouldn't play that either.

    I don't like playing without money because it becomes a very different game when people have literally nothing to lose. of course I do understand not wanting to play for $$ if it's so much that it's affecting something like your ability to eat.

    and I do understand not wanting to play for anything, though it doesn't appeal to me so much.

    although at this point playing period is extremely unappealing.

    I like Casino's, they're all just too damn expensive. At least, the ones around me. And I'm not going to fly out to Vegas just so I can lose slightly less money over a longer period of time while eating shrimp cocktails.
