Any other students making the trip and skipping classes Friday?
Sadly, my classes are on Wednesdays, so I'm gonna be all "Is it Thursday yet? Is it Thursday yet? Is it Thursday yet?" in my brain and not pay attention during those four hours. And I want to pay attention, especially since it will be World Religions class.

Actually, I just looked at my schedule, and I realized that next semester I have Fridays open. I'm taking this as a sign that I was meant to spent one of them at PAX. Hooray coincidence!
I'll be driving from Salt Lake City. Moe, are you still putting pins down for those of us who don't want another account on some website? If you do taht for me, I'll say the CCST is cool
Oregon! According to Greyhound, it's a 21 hr bus ride from here to Seattle. Maybe they're making a stop in Chicago.
Check your ticket for the stops, you probably have one hell of a layover in the middle. IIRC I had a 2 hour layover in either Portland or Tacoma, and that was near the end of a 2-day ride from Omaha.

I think I'll end up flying out of Chicago on Wednesday instead of joining the CCST. Mostly because I wasn't sure of what I'd be doing after PAX and didn't want to bail on a driver. I've added my dot to the map!
okay, added my point on the map.
i'm in Oregon in the middle of nowhere, easiest way to explain where i live is to say that i live within a 20 mile radius of where they filmed the first (and second- i guess) of Ax Men.
Added myself to the map. I'm driving from where I live now to Albuqurque (three hours) and then flying to Seattle by way of Phoenix (4 hours).
Looks like there's no one else from New Mexico on the map yet. I'm not surprised, it's not easy to get from here to ANYWHERE. There is a local airport I could've flown out of, but roundtrip tickets to Seattle from there (with changes in Ontario, California) run in excess of $600. I'd sooner drive then pay twice what it cost from nearby airports.
It's 3459.09 miles between Seatle and Puerto Rico.
If you go by plane it's about 13+ hours of air travel (usually with a conection in either dallas or chicago).
I know the chances of anyone from Puerto Rico going to PAX are slim. But still, if any boricua or anyone with a little bit of coqui in them is going to PAX, please drop a line on this thread.
If you are a puertorrican and living in the states and going to PAX, and you want something from the island (hopefully something small and easy to carry like coffee ) then drop me a line on this thread.
If you are not a puertorrican, but want something from the island (most likely rum:winky:) and know of a good party or get together, then drop me a line on this thread and i'll drop by and share the goods.

Close enough. more like 350 miles, more depending on the sizes of the summer snow dunes.

I'm originally from Boston (Somerville), MA and I went to college in Albany (Troy), NY.
Did you go to RPI? I went to SUNY, lived in Albany for 7 years. I had a few friends who went to RPI.
If any other Portlanders see this, we should try and get a Pre-Pax Portland Party Promenade sometime this month.

Driving up from Portland, OR with the boyfriend. A Pre-PAX Portland get-together would be fun - just a matter of getting something organized...
