I'm not sure how but it does for me. Mind you, not like 5 o clock stubble down there, but after a few days it just helps and I notice a lot less irritation and uncomfortableness since I started using shampoo.
And no, this isn't meant in a winky worthy manner.
also it seems like even the tiniest flaw in the blade would tear your face up
but I guess thats what the leather belt is for
The 'belt' is called a strop, and here's a great resource for your Metal. Think of this place like the Penny-Arcade of shaving. I learned so much about techniques and products and everything

Badger hair brush, Proraso or Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream, and a Merkur Safety razor with Feather brand razors. Haven't shaved in a few days though.
Right now it's badger brush, Proraso or Trumper's shaving soap (although right now I am using El Cheapo brand), Murkur HD safety razor and Wilkinson Sword blades (although I prefer Gillette's or Feathers).

no, that's the scar you got from when you accidentally hit yourself with a whip while trying to fend off a circus lion on a moving train while being chased by mercenary archeologists who were trying to recover from you a golden cross that was given to Coronado.

Shampoo and conditioner are not just for your head!
They'll fetch a pretty penny on the Beard Black Market.
but I know I'll cut myself with it
Not by shaving
but by picking it up while not looking

My dad's side of the family has great facial hair, my dad uncle and granddad could all grow mustaches and beards without even trying.
Of course I got my mom's dad's genes. Patchy and thin horrible facial hair that takes about 5 days to even be noticeable.
pretty smooth
it's a thing for him
lots of dick jokes and toilet humor huh
I don't know if anybody has tried yanking out their pubic hairs one by one but that's pretty much the experience.
When i was 13 i actually tried this.
how far did you get?
I hate shaving but I also hate having facial hair.
man i itched like crazy, even after moisturizing, so I'll probably just keep it to a short trim for a while instead of going all scorched earth
doesn't itch
I shave once a week but don't really need to
that requires feeling sensation in your genitals
at least, compared to the crabs.
I don't understand the whole itching thing
maybe I just do it too much
or maybe I just don't have horrendously dry skin
It was lots of fun
A good time was had by all
you monster
I think I could spend a while stroking it
Also I am unhappy with a scab between my lower lip and my chin
That is a terrible place for a scab
pick that motherfucker
scars are better
It's a stubborn scab
But at least it didn't interfere with me shaving
tell them you got it while ultimate fighting a dude
