I found the little shield upgrades you could get to be completely impractical. I'm pretty sure they never actually blocked any damage and they looked goofy as all hell.

hopefully they have cannons as an option
I mean, if you're fighting pirates, you might as well go authentic
or at least a Discovery channel episode or 2 part special

Forget all this pirate cruise shit, they need to make those Predator drones available for this shit. Send out some dummy boats, wait for pirates, then use your intertrons connection to fly in a blow up some pirates.
So I just skimmed this thread waiting for someone to point out that this is a hoax, but alas...
So are the former special forces guys going to dive in front of bullets or what? I don't care how good of shots they are (the special forces, as far as shooting the pirates before they shoot at you), it only takes 1/10th of a second for a 16 year old kid on a little speed boat to pull a trigger.
Don't worry guys we'll shoot the RPG's out of the air!

I don't think you understand how bullets work
also untrained idiotic starving scum with a gun the size of their body work either

I wonder what sort of weapon orientation they put the passengers through. Being any kind of accurate with an AK from short to medium distance is not an easy thing to do, untrained.
I mean, they surely wouldn't want the passengers to miss their chance at shooting some teenager with a high powered rifle because the gun wasn't cocked properly!

I think the proper way to hunt pirates should be similar to an English fox hunt. We'll train dolphins to track them and ride jet skis with machine guns and rockets. Afterwards we drink brandy and smoke fine cigars.

which is why they need to give them m16s
only way that could be easier is if it was labeled

I'm sure they'd get semi-automatic AK-47's, and if they were to get the M16, I'm sure it'd be an AR-15. I think a lot of people underestimate how difficult it is to be accurate with a firearm. I do a lot of shooting, and it's definitely not "point and shoot" by any means, regardless of the weapon.
As far as picking it up and knowing what does what though the m16 is pretty much the simplest thing ever with the exception of a single-shot
Hitting things is a whole 'nother story
Ah yeah, you can teach someone how to operate one in a few minutes, but when I said the "It's not point and shoot" thing, I meant as far as hitting a target goes. So yes, I agree good sir.

yeah but you gotta figure at least thirty people are gonna buy into this
the pirates are gonna be outnumbered
They'll add that in the DLC package.
ten thousand to pimp your weapon out
solid gold AK 47
just in case
