Just got a brand new monitor in the mail and I'm wondering if there are any good calibration utilities out there for free that I could use to get my picture looking as good as possible.
I don't know of any programs in particular (I know they exist, though), but you could check out the AVS Forum as they are pretty hardcore about this kinda thing. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=139
Also I believe Halo 3, perhaps the special edition, came with a DVD for TV calibration. If you could find a copy of that it should work just as well.

Basically just a series of calibration images but if your monitor is adjustable at all, or you fancy messing about with colour profiles, it's very good.
