Some people I know got this thing in the mail where it said to send 1 dollar to everyone on some list, and then add your name to the list or some shit, I dunno, apparently it makes money.
Oh god. I had a Primerica interview in college. One of my otherwise quite brilliant friends bought their bullshit completely and I think he gave them my name. In retrospect, I should never have gone to an interview before I knew the name of the company, but in my defense I was poor.
Giving the wrong answers to every one of his leading questions was kind of fun, though.
The drunk asshole stepdad? He was a really fucking horrible person. I mentioned him casually because someone brought up being a car salesman, and this waste of atoms spent most of time trying to start car dealerships, and only working at them maybe 3 hours a day. But when it seems like someone is acting condescending about my experiences with him, like maybe they were just a goddamn walk in the park, well hey, I get a little defensive.
