Hrrmmm. Dang it i know this. What situation are we talking about? Also, I believe Dinobot II got the original memories after regaining his full spark after Rampage died. I assume this cancelled out whatever blocks Megatron installed by increasing whatever free will was left.
well the reason dinobot II was acting like dinobot was because of an unproduced episode called "Dark Glass" which dinobot II was possessed by the original's spark
but since that didn't happen it's a pretty big plot hole, yeah

After using the magic that is TF wiki, it turns out that apparently the shuttle WAS already there. Perhaps it has something to do with G1 Megatron initiating full scans of the Ark and that Info being on the Nemesis.

Aside from the lack of die-cast metal, the major difference between Windcharger and Overdrive is that Windcharger lacks the long drive-shaft/barrel for his engine/rifle accessory, which was even called a "shield" on the packaging. This was at the request of Honda's USA branch, who didn't like the idea of "their" toy toting a gun around. Since Honda's Japanese department had no such objections, however, Binaltech Overdrive did include an unchanged barrel.
the same concern about "war machines" turning into their cars was why bumblebee and cliffjumper weren't made into Volkswagens
Also I'm pretty sure that defending how your movie has no acting by pointing out that previously you had directed Nick Cage, Ben Affleck and Martin Lawrence isn't quite helping your cause.
Well, while it was pretty stupid and had holes you could Optimus himself through, the plot wasn't actually difficult to follow or anything, so I've never really understood why anybody was saying that.

I saw it last night
It was enjoyable, although at times it seemed like a parody of a Micheal Bay movie.
It got to the stage where I was saying to Vivienne, and now here comes the whacky character for cheap laughs.
The Latino transformers annoyed me as well, why can't they just be people (also why can't they be cool fucking cars as opposed to goddam hybrids.
Although, to it's credit it was a two and a half hour movie that kept my attention the entire time, and for an action movie that is hard to to, so I think the fact that it stayed that engaging for so long is really impressive.
I saw ratings of two and a half stars which seem right, it's dumb but enjoyable.
I struggled to follow shit in the first movie, when it came to the details
but that was probably because I couldn't recognize any robots except prime and bumblebee. They were all mostly just indistinct humanoid forms of tons of moving metal parts. I also didn't have any memories of the cartoon, so I probably missed out on background fluff and stuff as well.
I'm still not sure what the allspark is, or why it was on earth or whatever
but then i hardly remember anything from the first movie... It was so forgettable.
So I can sympathize with Megan, since I hear this one is even worse

Pretty much all the new transformers either sucked big time (the twins, the fallen, wheelie, grindor) or didn't get enough screen time to make an impression (sideswipe, arcee, jolt)
It's a shame. Jolt and Sideswipe were both cool designs, it would have been nice to see them do...anything.
I was disappointed that Arcee was not a combining robot.
I thought it would have been pretty cool if she were three mini robots combined to form a reasonable sized robot.
She is, technically. They had to drop that part from the film, but it's still in the comics and the three bike sister toys still combine, though based on the first two we've seen it's going to look...strange, most likely.

Does anyone have pictures of Jetfire and Acree toys then?
I hope these work, but here's Jetfire (vehicle), Arcee (vehicle) and Chromia (vehicle), two of the individual bikes. We don't know what the third one looks like yet, as such. It's just supposed to be a repaint or slight retooling of Chromia though.
