    i killed the inventor and herbalist, looted their corpses, and left, nobody cared except that i got a 'thief of tarant' reputation

    pretty sure i wouldn't even have gotten that if i hadn't looted the corpses

    Stun + Expert Backstab = 35+ damage shots * 6+ hits per turn

    I'm levelling so fast I'm forgetting to spend points.

    just took down two guards and then fought a level 45 guard to the death with 1 HP the whole time

    There are a bunch of evil dialogue options for elves that fit the Dark Elf Follower background perfectly.

    Thing is, sometimes they make people attack you when you wouldn't expect them to. Save often...

    fuck it. i'll just restart from like two hours earlier and do all that elf shit over again.

    made an evil female elf mage in the meantime by the name of Abigail LaFey, pretty amusing so far. rocking some conveyance and dark necromancy at the moment. god, this is so much easier already.

    Someday, I'm going to go back and find everyone who ever called me a Half-Breed and put my axe through their face.

    So I thought I got the taxes from Blackroot, only when I went to hand them off to Praetor, I seem to have "misplaced" them. I checked the floor of the Mayor's office, but I'm not seeing them. What's up?

    ...it's possible you sold them when clearing inventory or something. Five gold bars sells for quite a bit of cash. I almost always just sell it if I'm doing an evil playthrough.

    Oh man the Torian Kel dialog sequence is so cool, especially if you have Geoffry.

    Makes me want to make a charismatic evil character just so I can have them grouped at the same time.

    It has no impact on the rest of the game... you'll get a wag of the finger in the ending though.

    Edit: I just looked through the premade characters, and realized with a sickening sensation that they're all people you find in the wreckage of the Zephyr. It's so damn macabre.

    If a wag of the finger gives you shock, you may as well just pack up and go home. It's fairly impossible to nail every ending segment as "good" the first time around. And you need a very particular character build to do it.

    I don't know what's worse. The level 15 spiders that can one shot your whole party, or the ore golems who can machine gun that rock throw spell at will.

    Doing it right now on my thief... very hard dungeon.

    The only way it isn't hard is if you are in there with Plate and a non-damageable axe.

    i'm thinking i might just restart the game. my guy is terrible at combat, because i chose the beauty-centric background which doesn't mean shit. gunsmithy is fun, but maybe i'll focus on backstabs and persuasion.

    Ori I'm not sure you're in the Dredge.. there are no Dread spiders in the Dredge. You're in the mines. That's a different part of the mountain.

    I think I only died once or twice in the dredge, sure my companions wrecked their weapons to shit, but we made it out ok

    There are a couple of enemies that it shreds through, but the damage to ammo cost ratio ain't really worth it.
