My only complaint is that superman read as a girl to me first. I mean NOW i know its a guy, but something about it read as chick.
Hmm.. good point. Should I make the jaw more square, the nose more chiseled? I see what you mean, but I don't know exactly how to fix it. Thank you for the critique.
edit: OH, and the lips on the girl in teh superman photo need to move downwards too, but I had erased on that spot about 12 times trying to get her lips right and the paper was wearing thin.

Are you scanning pencils into Photoshop? Try scanning in grayscale and then messing around with levels/curves.
