Old arcade game name?

I remember in my local bowling alley in the early early 90s there was this arcade game that I can't for the life of me remember what the name it was. I remember that it was a medieval setting with magic and swords and shit. The first level started off as an isometric view in some large enclosed stone structure, like a castle or a tower. You went up and the first boss was some big dragon on the roof or on a bridge or something.
For the last 20 years I thought it was a dungeons and dragons game, but the only two d&d arcade games I can find are standard side scrolling beat 'em ups. Neither are isometric.
Does anyone have any idea what the game might have been?

If that is it, it's on Taito Legends 2 on the PS2/Xbox/PC
it was a puzzler style game where you had to match up colored balls (ha ha)
the background art and character animations were my favorite
