But seriously, I really like the character, especially in JSA. While she could be a completely empty headed pair of headlights, John's manages to make her and her whacked out origins and insane costume work.

    Power Girl had a solo ongoing at one point, right? I wish she'd get as big a push as Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman are over at Marvel. I'd definitely add her solo book to my pull list, so long as they got a penciler on board that could do her justice and a decent writer. Oh, and have Greg Horn do covers, since he's rocking out on his She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel covers.

    I'm basically feeling the same way. I mean, yeah, I could probably pick wait for JSA (which I understand will feature her as a prominent character), but I would like to see a continuing solo series for her. She actually has depth and seems very interesting, unlike other card board cut-out ditzy blond heroines.

    I have a large amount of tasteful and modest Power Girl sketches. And by tasteful and modest, I mean lewd and lascivious.

    I shall not post them here, because I fear the wrath of mods.

    However, I wish to say, for the record, that Power Girl is the best subject for tasteful and modest comic book superheroine pin-up art.

    In the course of looking for Power Girl images on Google, I stumbled across some Power Girl fan films. They were fairly amusing, and the girl who they picked to play her more or less looked the part, if you know what I mean. :winky:

    I mean, damn, she's fucking Supergirl...the ORIGINAL Supergirl.

    Let Supergirl be all emo and emotional and shit, and give PG a book for the asskickings.

    I mean, PG works great with the JSA, but there are so many legendary members that she kinda gets lost in the crowd.

    I mean, how the fuck do you compete with Jay motherfucking Garret AND Alan Scott. You don't, and the JSA book reflects that.

    Give here a couple of Mini's a year with a notorious cheescake artist and BAM. She's beating the fuck out of WW in the sales dept.

    Hold on there, son. Several of the songs on those videos are by Yoko Kanno (from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack). Innappropriate for the video? Possibly. Terrible? There's no such thing as a bad Yoko Kanno song, much less a terrible one.
