oh shit I just realized that we just got an HD tv at my house
so I get to see shark week in high definition for the first time
Oh oh oh. I was all bummed about not seeing shark week because I have no cable. However, my parents are out of town, and for at least one night this week I should be able to go over to their place and watch sharks on their huge ~50 inch Pioneer Elite which I think has an HD tuner.
Apparently I'm on that whole 3-hours-after-scheduling thing. East coast / west coast timing, whatever. 'Air Jaws' is on, that's my favorite Shark Week show, and I don't know why I don't buy it on DVD. Need to get that Shark Weed anniversary DVD pack.
Fuck man, there's is purely nothing better than a nearly 20 foot shark leaping it's entire body length out of water, for the sole purpose of killing a small seal. Take a second to realize exactly how high 20 feet is. Picture said shark of that length jumping that high. Like a Sea World dolphin from hell. Shit this stuff practically gives me a boner. Shark boner.
