I'd say at this point, the big room is literally a given. You could walk around with a sign saying "Ask me about the Post-PAX Dinner Party at the Taphouse!" on Friday and get 16 people before the doors even open.
You guys have no idea how happy this makes me. I was so stressed about us not getting the 100. When we hit 60 I had a bit of a breather, but then I had to worry about us not getting the 100, and turning people away, and blah blah blah...
Billiards Lounge. Fucking party. Full on. Four pool tables. Two giant projectors. It's on. I love you guys. Keep those registrations coming.

I've decided that I'm capping the dinner at 11. I don't want to split the party into two rooms; that would suck for people in the other, smaller room, and 150 is a lot of people. For the first year I'd like to keep it in one room and keep it manageable.
Thus, the 11 remaining tickets are the last 11 tickets for the First Annual Post-PAX Party Dinner!

People are really grabbing these last few tickets. I'm glad I got those friends in yesterday. I've got one whose still on the fence. I'll have to tell him today that his almost out of time.

This is awesome, there's been a big rush of ticket buying the last couple days. We are down to 8 tickets and we are going to get the big room.
And yeah, it's definitely a good idea to cap it at 100 tickets, I think next year if it looks like we're going to get well over 100 we'll probably have to look at a different venue. Mostly because it would suck to split up the party.

We'll be on the West Coast PAX Train as well as in the Halo 3 and Rock Band tourneys. Hope to see some of you around. We'll be the two guys who like video games and are attending PAX--oh and we'll probably be wearing pants.

P.S. Eventbrite kind of sucks.
Probably wearing pants? What kind of party do you think this is? A regular PA party where you can walk around without pants on whenever you like?
Of course given the booze anything is possible. Just remember that we all have camera phones and a PAX forum to post shameful pictures. :P

I just want to say that you guys are awesome. I'm so glad we're hitting 100 people. It's such a cool benchmark for the first year, the bigger room is way cooler, and it's really, really great.

If (when) we hit 100, I'll keep the RSVP thing going with the caveat that if we don't hit 150, the people above 100 can't come.
Or I might just cap it. I dunno. It kind of depends. I'll have to decide.

And over 600 posts later I finally register. This event looks super fun, I am legitimately excited about this.
