[MISC] Pre-Pax Portland Party Pals! Portland, OR Pre-Pax get together

What's up Portlanders! PAX is less than a month away, and what better way to get ready than having a Pre-Pax Portland meetup?
Portland has so many great activites, but only one really fits the PAX mood, the monthly free play at Ground Kontrol.
Who: Anyone in and around Portland OR.
Where: Ground Kontrol in down town Portland.

Portland, OR 97209
Here is a map of the area
When: Free Play is the last Wednesday of every month. So in August, it will be Wednesday, August 26th at 5pm. It is 21+ however, cause Ground Kontrol has an open bar.
How Much?: It's only $5 for the whole night.
If the majority of people in the area are under 21, we can get something earlier going before going to Ground Kontrol of course.
So, if you wanna join in on some awesome Pre-Pax fun, post if your coming, and we'll see you there!

I'm 23, but I saw you mentioned something for the under 21 crowd and there is a great coffee shop / cyber cafe around the corner called Backspace.
They have vegetarian friendly food, usually some kind of art show, occasional live music and computers/wifi to use.
Wife and I will be there! nice unwind before that drive up the next day
i will wear my balls outside of my pants so i am easily identified.

GK also has rock band tuesdays which i've gone to 2 or 3 times, but I can't handle the ion drum kit they have because mine at home is over 9000 times more awesome.

SO, quick note. Tonight at Guardian Games, at 6pm (ie right now.), they are having their monthly beer and pizza night. $10 for beer pizza and games. 21+ only

We usually stay until 2:30 or 3, and likely will be there that late next week.
Just keep in mind the free-play party attendance has been steadily growing and we _do_ have to make sure we stay under capacity (which is about 150 persons, not including staff.) People have been lining up outside our door prior to free-play parties, so get there early if you can! Door opens at 5.
This next week we're also celebrating our 10th anniversary, so we're going to try and make each nite extra-special. You can check our website if you're curious about the other events!
