Dammit PAX ressurected and appropriated that song first! :P

You havn't been to many sporting events in recent times have you? The final countdown is always played during the final moments of almost any sport.

Not to mention many high school pep rallies.

Not to mention my head all fuckin day because of you bastards.

There's what I was aiming for! Bwahhaha

Also the :P emoticon generally represents a degree of sarcasm.

I'm sure it's played at other venues (as well as at Europe concerts)... regardless (between Freezepop and the Omegathon Final) it reminds me of PAX when I hear it. I imagine I've heard a snippet of it at the odd hockey game, but I generally don't watch sports that are slow enough to facilitate a music break when they should be finishing the damned game. :P

And Sumi, sorry but I don't frequent too many high school pep rallies these days. I'm too young to have kids in high school and too old to hang out at them without the police questioning it. lol.

Anyway, no point continuing the debate.... one person other than me has the song stuck in their head. My work here is done.

    YOU ARE SO ADDED!

As is everyone else who posted since the last update.

In honour of the new Canada Line I considered adding a small event in Richmond so we'd have a reason to take the new line somewhere.... but I can't think of anything fun to do in Richmond. :P

For those CSTers that are flying into Vancouver early and joining us on the bus as well as at FTW Night. By sheer fluke of scheduling I ended up getting the Tuesday and Wednesday before PAX off so if any of you want to go all touristy while you are here and need a tour guide let me know. 8-)

Hmmmm....RUSH!? Tons of arcades. Any of the Asian malls and their delicious foodstuffs? (okay...just Aberdeen). Great AYCE sushi (or just sushi in general), exploring Steveston, Riverrock Casino if anyones in to that, and anything in the vicinity of the Riverport complex. When Richmond is half the distance of Vancouver, you do find things to do there! Oh, wait a minute, NIGHT MARKET!

Yeah, you could do RUSH, Steveston wouldn't be all that interesting to me since I almost live in the village, but there's probably some people who don't see it very often.

Most of us are meeting up at my place ahead of time so we'll all be grouped up. We shouldn't be hard to miss.... we haven't told ACC3SS yet but we are dressing him up as Motoko to get the cosplay ticket discount... oh crap, I just let out the secret. Forget I said anything! :P

Seriously though if you want to meet up in line, PM me and I'll send you a number you can call us at to arrange a meet up.

They started about half an hour late, which kinda sucked, but the movies were awesome, I hadn't seen either of them before.

ZOMGLAZERS is totally on. I suppose a tip for spotting people would be to look for nerdy t-shirts. I'm sure we'll find each other no problem. Are you doing the Seymour Golf Centre as well?

I might... depends on how the day goes. :) Is it ok if I don't fully commit to golf right now? Laser Pew pew is most certainly on though.

Movies were fun, even if I didn't get to sleep until 5 am.

As far as finding people at laser pew pew and/or golf...look for the guy wearing shorts with a binary tattoo on his right leg. That's me :D

Plus, I'll probably be wearing this shirt.

Also sleep deprived, but yeah all the remaining events will be happening. We only cancelled Darby's beacause they stopped doing Rock Band.

I forgot how freaking long Akira was. Plus I stayed up untill 6 hanging our with ACC3SS until the skytrain started running again. On the positive side this weekend will definately now serve as a warm up for PAX. :winky:

I'll be at the mini putt and laser tag events today. Tr0tsky is usally the easiest to spot. I'll be the short guy next to him.

Actually yes I called them. We only have about 10 people coming so we didn't need to make any special reservations. However I have my name down for tonight for the group so we get first dibs on gear for the all you can play.
