Okay, I know this is early, but I got a couple of my subs early this week and couldn't wait.

Amazing Spider-Man
Pete going nuts on random gun running thugs, pulling no punches, and scaring the shit out of the one who can give him info. I've never seen Spidey this damn angry before. Kingpin and his guys are fucked.

X-Factor
Alcoholic super detective Madrox dupe goes down in a hail of bullets after shooting a corrupt police captain in broad daylight. This after doing a Sherlock Holmes mindfuck moment hinting at all sorts of important shit about Jamie and others.

    I did go to the shop last night and pick up the Super-Skrull mini that I missed out on during Annihilation, and I must say, he kicks all kinds of ass. It helps that the art is awesome, unlike the Ronan mini, where it was so bad that the character wasn't done justice at all. Definitely some MOTW material if it wasn't so damn old.

    If I read the spoiler correctly, muthafucka was GUNNED DOWN after he killed the cop. Can't absorb somthing that's dead now can we? It's also fucked up because apparently, he knew some pretty important and relavent shit.

    Jamie talked about absorbing the dupe that was all shot up at the start of the Madrox mini, and I'm pretty sure stated that it had just died before he absorbed it, and how he hates to do that because of how jacked up it leaves him feeling afterwards. I think he can, but he really REALLY doesn't like to do it.

    Well, Madrox didn't absorb this dupe for a couple of reasons.
    First, even though those skills would've been awesome, he (and the dupe) were afraid it having the same affect all that knowledge had on the dupe. Second, the dupe was three years old, made long before Madrox started being able to absorb the dead dupes. The dupe planned out his whole end because he loved Jamie too much to saddle him with the burden of the skills and the knowledge he had. I think, though, that the dupe wants him to eventually figure it out, or at least some of the more major bits.
