    BEST THROAT MEDICINE OUT THERE

For anyone who is feeling the horrible side effects of the PaxFlu, here is an AMAZING cough medicine that TASTES good and WORKS

    NIN JIOM
Herbal Cough Syrup and Expectorant (THIS STUFF IS AMAZING, can be found at any London Drugs and most pharmasaves)

If you are alone, dying at home with no way to get medicine, I would suggest the following:

    Honey for your chapped lips
warm lemonaid sweetened with honey for your throat
    Pepermint tea for your stomach

And if all else fails, gargle salt water 3 times a day. (or more if you want to get better faster)

Added myself on there, mine was worst Sunday night, seemed to come down with it Saturday or earlier as thats when symptoms started but Sunday night my whole body ached, had a migraine and a severe cough and complete lack of appetite. After a good nights sleep I felt better but I am still coughing and running a fever with a slight headache.

My friends and I all got sick by sunday, however i know only 1/4 of us got the actual swine flu as far as i know it's only the one unfortunate soul that has a fever While I've only got a cough, a lot of throat gunk, but no fever! Still I want a pax pox shirt or at least a button.

I had a fever of 104 degrees on Monday, I found that by staying in bed and drinking lots of tea, orange spice because other make your throat dry, and sleeping made feel much better the next day with 98.1 degree temperature. If anyone has some good tips on how to get rid of this scratchy throat, please let me know.

you are doing everything right. the couggh will probably turn into a flemmy one.. i recommend drinking WHITE tea. the other teas the aggro'd your cough had caffine, and white tea has none plus the most antioxydents of all teas.

    stay AWAY from fruit juices!

a losenge will temp restore your throat but there is no way to completely suppress it. if you don't talk too much it should keep the coughing to a minimum.

i had a fever of 102.6.... ugh XD

Thank you for suggesting white tea. Unfortunately, out of the 27 different types of tea I have on hand (including chocolate) I don't have any white tea on hand so I'll be sure to pick some up tomorrow.
    this stuff
    Throat_Coat_Large.jpg

is fantastic for sore throats and coughs without making your tongue feel or taste all funky like lozenges can

I came out fine, but this post from Kotaku about people getting sick at PAX makes me worried...

    http://kotaku.com/5354822/pax-organizers-report-confirmed-swine-flu-case-from-show
Khoo said that the reported case came from a Boston-based game developer, one who confirmed contracting the H1N1 virus with a doctor. That developer contacted PAX officials with confirmation of the infection.

    Nooooo, not Harmonix!

Also I've been taking this strange mexican medicine a friend gave me called XL-3. The box is entirely in spanish and looks like it's housing some chemical, but god DAMN it works.

I think this is my first post and I get to bitch about getting sick, yay! :) I got the nose swab test, which was extremely uncomfortable, and they say yes I have the flu - not a lot of achiness but I have all of the other Super Fun symptoms. Work is all freaked out and I get to stay home probably until next week, which is good because I feel like craaap.

Of course, all of my sick days are paid and I can use this time to catch up on my video game playing, so it's not the worst thing to ever happen to me.

    Still BLARG stupid flu.

Oh that's simply amazing. :^: Does the citrusy Airborne taste come though the gin pretty strongly? I've been known to mix gin and gatorade, I'd imagine it taste a bit like that. I vote you call it "The Pre-PAX Planning".
