Need some advice please

As you might be able to tell i'm new here. After reading what must be every comic in the archive i gota say i love this website. Anyway it inspired me to take up drawing again. I was looking for any advice on using the computer to colour drawings. Is it easier to draw a line art on paper then transfer it to computer before colouring or should i just sketch it straight into the program. I'm using a graphics tablet and coral painter x. Any advice would be much appreciated
