PAX Halo 2 Tournament(s) ?

Hey.

Does anybody know anything about any official Halo 2 tournaments at PAX? Any idea of the gametypes? Can I play as an elite? Will we play something other than Midship and Lockout all the time? Can we please ban superbouncing and BXRing?

    i really dont think they should do another halo 2 tourny its getting old they should switch it out with a gears of war tourny instead

    i'm with m4yh3m, it's just not like the old days of rocket whoring with my drunk buddies on a 12-16 player lan party. halo tourneys at pax are just feeling dated.

    Age alone doesn't determine whether or not a game makes the cut. How many of you who think Halo 2 is dated would even enter the tourney in the first place?

    Because it would more than likely just be the public beta version again, and people wouldn't be as excited about it (and Bungie would also be entering crunch time, hardcore)

    Also, it should be remembered that they're releasing new Halo 2 content (maps) a couple months before PAX.

    debug units can't run retail discs, though, so it still wouldn't be very helpful to steal Halo 3 - you'd still have to pay for it, either with jail time or 60$ in money :P

    Debug units will play unsigned disks. If halo3 is brought it would be on a Dev kit with the code running off of the hard drive.

    well, anyone can get a sata connector and just jack the data off it, hell, i can do it at the show with my laptop. then, there's always reformatting the drive for your 360. damn, why are we going so into detail about stealing stuff from out beloved pax?
