I thought they were out of Beta everywhere now? I know the IAH servers are getting a major content patch and are giving out x3 XP for the next few weeks. I haven't played the THQ version.

I guess they're out of beta, otherwise it'd be pretty ridiculous for them to actually sell Cash Items, but at the same time, when I installed this game, it's called Dragonica Online Open Beta in my Start menu. The game itself doesn't mention beta anyway though.
Oh damn, I should have read the info in the OP, I got all the way to level 18 in THQ version.
Welp, time to download the new one and start over. It'll go much faster now that I know what I'm doing.
And friend points!
whatever you like best. For as far as I am aware you'll be the only PAer playing.
Not that it helps any: but both sides keep spamming me with cash shop updates and more content, so the game is still considered lucrative by the publishers.
Is anyone playing this? Is there a PA guild? I started this up and it looks like a fun little diversion to play during vacations and wen on the road with a hotel-grade WiFi connection.
Best news: increased EXP gain, balance improvements
Other news: housing system, new subclasses, new skills (of course), new maps, new PvP stuff, skill macros.
I quit at the high level forties, when the fastest way to level was to farm minion spawns on a boss stage for hours at a time. I tinkered around a bit with the latest patch, but levelling is still painfully slow. I'd estimate that players can earn experience around 50% faster now, but I still wouldn't wish that grind on anyone.
They raised the level cap, and I can't even imagine how horrific the grind must be past level 60. Given the game's exponential experience curve, a 50% improvement can't even make a dent on reducing the tedium.
Dragonica is, unfortunately, a fun game that desperately needs private servers. The rate of progression as the developers dictate is just awful. Korea!
if enough people come back on i will too, ive been missing it
I don't think a 50% improvement on a 500 hours grind is going to get people back. Not much else has changed, only more stuff to do once you've grinded more than you can enjoy.

Is there a class your guild is lacking that I can fill in?
updated OP to reflect reality.
Any recommendations on builds?
Is it possible to hook up a 360 controller to this game? Tis all I have.
