Pics posted on the previous post...
And I made some videos, gotta edit them and then upload.
What would be a good program for editing avis?
OK, 3 more pics I found awesome.

Windows Movie Maker is okay for simple stuff. I hear VirtualDub is better for more involved stuff.

Does the 360 version have any kind of couch co-op? I'd like to play it with my fiancee, but she's got this nasty habit of living with me and I'd find it hard to excuse buying another Xbox.

5 bucks for this game is too good of a deal to pass up. After playing this on both 360 and PS3, I'm more than happy to finally own it for the PC.
However, playing this game (along with GTA4) on my PC is really telling me that I need to do some upgrading. I was somewhat pleased that I got better fps on this compared to GTA4, but it still didn't really help at all when trying to drive around town. I was doing some major swerving even from tapping A and D.
I'll throw in my SteamID for the Saints Row shenanigans, but I'll probably be playing crappy for awhile.
Good times coop today with Stormwatcher shooting up the mall. Have some screenshots. Once again, the linked versions are to 1920x1200 full sized versions. The full size pics are definitely worth checking out, and some are even quite stunning.

To answer my own question: no. I'm not going to rant, but having flesh and blood friends whom I like to play games with without a mic seems to be a hindrance these days. Hopefully the PC port isn't as shitty as it's made out to be. Tally ho!
Got it, and yeah, the driving controls are pretty dreadful. But my framerate isn't that great to begin with. What are some good settings to lower to free up CPU power? (but not necessarily GPU power, since I seriously doubt that it's taking my GTX260 to the limit).
I'm up for trying some MP or Co-op, seeing if it's any better than the single player
Just got it and having fun with it, but haven't got very far. I dunno how that affects possible co-op or multiplayer but I'd love to try it. Steam link is my sig.
This whole performance thing is so weird. I have the game running @ 60FPS with occasional dips and the occasional "choking when driving fast" (which is another issue). But it runs fine most of the time, especially when walking around destroying stuff. Flying and boating are fine too. And i could even play fine whit FRAPS recording a video... a 5 minute 1.5 GB video.
And all I have is: C2D E8400 3.3GHz, Radeon 4850 512 MB, 4GB RAM and Win 7 64 Bits. It's not a super computer, and it's not very expensive.
Man, I want to play but I have this horrible graphics problem (I have an ATi Radeon 4870 X2). The game becomes unplayable after a few minutes due to severe flickering. The two solutions I've found are both odious. One is to disable Catalyst AI (Which the poster of the fix says will kill performance, but I'll try it tonight). The other is to downgrade my drivers to 9.1, which breaks other things for me. =/
Can't buy this directly because I live in Australia, but I'd be pretty tempted to paypal someone 6USD if they were open to buying me a key I could then use in Steam.
Is it possible to buy the same game multiple times from D2D? I'm not seeing an option to order multiple copies. And I don't think gifting would work because it wants to registration information for the recipient.

How far you've gotten really doesn't affect much of anything in a coop situation. The only things I can think of that would affect a player farther along are:
* No access to your helipad until the newer player finishes the 2nd mission (setting up his crib)
* No access to your airplane hanger until the newer player buys the crib at the airport
* No access to your boats and jet skis until the newer player buys the crib at the docks
All easily worked around by just stealing the vehicles you need, rather than using ones you've previously stolen and parked there.
Also, invite sent for the group. I'm seeing a big chunk of the group playing Saint's Row 2 every night so far. You shouldn't have any problem finding someone to team up for a little mayhem.
So I had enough time to dick around with the game this morning.
I made a emaciated boy with a feminine voice and way to much makeup who wears womens clothes and has a severe case of gender confusion.
Its so god damn funny seeing hi...her,. well, seeing IT run down the road.
It's even more hilarious to see your bizarro custom character acting like a badass in the cutscenes wearing whatever you have on at the time.
travathian, I think you are limited to purchasing/registering a game only once on d2d. The same question popped up on the Steam thread when someone tried to gift sr2.
A couple previews of a fun coop game last night with Woggle. His character kind of reminded me of Barclay from Star Trek TNG which made the whole thing even more silly. More pics to come:
Hurrrk...I'm really wanting to buy this since it's just 5 bucks, but the performance stuff is making me a bit nervous and thinking I should just check it for PS3 from work...

More PC games need to have open world coop for the shenanigans it induces.
