The hell? Lost was nominated for best writing for "The Incident"? I thought that was a poorly written episode/finale. Actually, as exciting as this season was, there was too much shoehorning of actions and plots which didn't occur naturally, just to get them to the end game. They're not writing organically anymore, just writing to get them to point B.
What happened a few years back, when they changed the way the nominees were cast, and Lost ended up not even getting any nods? I see it's back.
Thank god Charlie Sheen hasn't won anything, nor has Tony Shalhoub. How the hell NPH lost is beyond me.

I would be angry with you if Tony had done anything other than Monk recently.
Tony Shalhoub and Jeremy Piven have been ringers for their noms since forever. It's like how Desperate Housewives kept getting noms for Best Comedy, taking up a slot that another show could have used.
It's bittersweet that Kristen Chenoweth won for PD. I hope she talked about it in length.
