Trailer works fine for me; I'm using VLC.

This game looks great, but hard as hell. How are you going to distribute it?

I am genuinely excited to play this game. You guys set a release date yet, Gibs?

I like how many elements it has to the gameplay. like others have said, a lot like Metalslug, but with more elements to pay attention to. I also like that there are the cross/health pick-ups scattered like rings in Sonic. games like this frustrate me because of how easy it is to die. I'd probably be terrible at it, but it looks like a lot of fun.

    Jolly good work, Ol' Chap.

I must say, I am rather impressed by the Hollow Champion. That design is very appealing.

The angle of the axe head on the Auto Choppa seems off, it should be facing "forward" more.

I love the U-bot. The game actually looks fun.

    Totally a joke, McSerious.

BUT, the hollow champion's sword- the one that's pointed up- looks like it's rotated weird near the hilt.

    Looking really awesome McGiblets.
In regards to the Sell Sword, I never really considered how hard it would be to use a sword with just one eye and no depth perception. Then again, if pirates managed it, I'm sure these mercs will find a way.

I agree with fletcher, the angle of her right foot doesn't seem right (the angle from her toe seems to big or her heel should be off the ground)

    Now here's the paint vid.

See, If I speed it up by about 1000%, it actually sort of looks like I know what I'm doing (don't let that fool you, I totally don't). The last little bit is even faster because its just boring ass inking for like 2 hours.

Some might call me weird, but I really liked the way it looked at about 4:30 with the bright orange around her and the darker background allowing for some real contrast between the shades.

edit: it also made her, then orange-ish, eyes really pop.

I use a rounded square brush because I find it gives a better "paintbrush" feel then a rounded brush. It's set to change direction when I paint, so the square rotates around.
    Nice Rack!

I'm not sure if you saw that in the video, or just made the same corney pun in parallel.

I can't tell, did you start with a low contrast scan of the sketch on the last page, or did you sketch from the ground up in PS?

Edit: Also, is there a reason you drew the outline manually as opposed to using Stroke?

Cool beans, Gibs! I like the shiny skin effect...I've tried and failed to do it myself, now with the tutorial vid, I shall try yet again.

I do have a question about the colouring part of the vid though. You started with really cool grey tones, I saw that, and the hint of orange-- then you chose a colour for her, then you went back to the grey/black/white to fix things up-- there's a step there in the middle, however the actual colouring part I think I'm missing. Then at the end you adjust the colours again accordingly? Are you just going for warm/cool colours after the greys and then using hue/saturation changes to make final changes to the pallette? Anymore insight into that would be very helpful, finally getting into digital painting *a lot* lately, myself.

    Thanks!

P.S. Other stuff, especially ze untoten. :^: I love everything undead ever since wc3. Needs more liches, though :P
