That's not really a scam. All that stuff has been available in auctioneer/enchantrix forever. That quickauction mod sounds quite handy, though.

Basically, expect idiots to try and replicate this for a month or so - once the flooded market collapses from too many people trying to do it, profit again.

I thought 310% mounts didn't work against Skyshatter, because as soon as you fly over there you get transformed into a fel orc riding a 280% speed netherdrake regardless of what you were riding before?

If the brew of the month club only sends things every month, and I bought it on the third or fourth day of brewfest, that means there's no point trying to do absolutely every single achievement before the end of brewfest because I can't actually get the overall achievement until next year's brewfest, right?

    Hope that made sense.

Actually Brew of the Year isn't part of the meta. You can still get Brewmaster this year.

Nuts, I was hoping to have an excuse to put off these stupid dailies until next year. I think I'll have just enough coins to get the full clothes set and dance in Dalaran by Saturday, then I just need to do that "survive a stupidly long fall when drunk". Which is a shame because I wanted those romance goggles and the pink elekk pet instead :(.

I just wish he hadn't posted it. None of it was exactly new information, but there are plenty of people who didn't have the information before who are now going to tank prices on shit because they're trying to use MMOC's 'get rich quick' scheme. It's not even important information. If he was going to write a guide, he should've stuck to profession powerleveling ones and not "here's how to fuck your server's economy".

if anything, it seems like that article will drive prices up, at least for leather & ore. After all, his guide is essentially about turning undervalued raw mats into vendor trash.

Only commodity that will be hurt will be enchanting mats, which I think are a bit overvalued now; 100g for a stack of infinite dust is a little high (if lucrative for DE'rs)

You can have your cake and eat it too. All three of the clothing items can be refunded by the brewfest vendor within 2 hours. So just buy em, get drunk and dance then sell them right back and buy your goggles and the pet!

Yeah, I already finished all the achievements, and sold back the clothes to get the brew of the year app and the pet, but I'm working towards getting the goggles and the hat back, because it is a sweet hat.

Drink and throw! Drink and Throw!

If thats not too complicated, the first couple of days of brewfest I had to explain to people how to attack the dark iron dwarves, kept seeing rouges try to FoK them. *facepalm*

Saw a warrior (yes, the same person) Bladestorming during multiple Dark Iron Dwarf invasions. It was almost cute enough for a /pat.

Are you sure? Because during the attacks these mugs would spawn on the ground and when you got them you did a bladestorm like attack for 8 seconds that killed any dwarves you touched.

They probably are dying, just you're not killing them. On my server, there's always enough people randomly spamming mugs all over the place that they all die instantly anyway. Hell, I usually don't even bother helping - I do my barking daily and pick up the gear on my way back.

Casualties can mean either injured or killed. In this case, the former.

The other day the guy yelled something like "RETREAT! We've taken a beating and had 0 casualties! We can't handle these losses!"

310 mounts don't work on Skyshatter. The illusion buff that turns you into a fel orc on Netherwing Ledge also changes your mount to a 280 speed nether drake.

My computer has no World of Warcraft directory. Whenever I try to run the installer the button just lights up as "Play" not Install and when I hit it the game launches. However I have no WoW directory to install addons, etc to.

There is no entry in add/remove programs, a search yields nothing relevant. Super weird.
