Welcome to the thirdGraphic Violence Presents: Create a Super Hero/Villain contest!
The Theme for the third contest is: SUPERPETS AND/OR ANIMALS! None of that furry shit though, okay? Keep it to actual animals with superpowers, not humans with like, cat ears and tails and whiskers. This is not a superhero MMO.

Your entry should contain the following:
You aren't required to include all of these categories, and you may add more, but these should work as basic guidelines.
The deadline for entries is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 12th before 11:59 PM Central time.

Here's a link to HeroMachine, where you can do simplified hero designs. It ain't perfect, but it'll do! I uh...don't know how it'll help with this one, but it's there!

- Follow basic rules of the forums. That means no porn, no use of things like the N-bomb, etc. Check the rules thread for basic ideas.
- All entries must be able to fit in the character limit of a single post. That's more than enough space.
- Link to images over 200k. Make thumbnails if you have to.
- You can make two entries. If you do, one must be a hero, and one must be a villain. We'll have separate polls for each.
And here are some GUIDELINES:

Um, how am I supposed to make an animal with Hero Machine? Use one of the midget templates and pray for leniency?
There's actually a "Companion" accessory, which consists of numerous animals and such.
You can't put masks on them or anything, but it's something.

Nah, Munch picked up the fumble pretty well. Using HM's "companions" accessory as a very basic...um, baseline...for animals is about as functional as using HM's bipeds to flesh out superheroes, as long as you can at least color them in or screw around with MSPaint or something.

But that is not important.
What is important is that when all those demons were sent packing, one didn't get on the train. One stayed behind. Not because she was the cruelest of the bunch and not because she was the smartest.
She got thrown through a wall and was unconscious at the time.
When she woke up, she came face-to-face with Maria Vargas. Maria didn't know quite what she was looking at but it was certainly shaped enough like a dog that she instictively started to treat it like one. She didn't run, scream or try to pet the demon like an idiot. Instead Maria didn't make eye contact and lowered herself into a squat to give this demon a sniff at her. Now the demon wasn't overly intelligent. She didn't attack people out of malace. She just did as commanded and with no other demons to comand her, the demon didn't know exactly what to do. So exhausted, the demon decreased its mass and passed out again. Now the size and shape of a daushund, the demon found itself lifted from the debris and taken to Maria's home where she still resides as protector, pet and eater of snausages. The demon is now known as...
RED ROVER
Unfortunately, Red is a beacon for both the forces of heaven and hell and is often drawn into their intrigues as angels try to destroy her and demons try to use her as a key back into the earthly realm.
Maria works at a dog day care which allows her to monitor Red almost all the time and (I'm sure) has some sort of secret in her past that would come up.
Powers and Abilities Red Rover is a hell hound and as such has the ability to change her mass from as small as a weiner dog all the way up to a 400 pound monstrosity of meat and murder. Red must oddly enough be the color red in all of these forms and gernerally chooses canine forms that would accomadate such colorisations. Red is also completely resistent to fire and can breath it in any of her shapes. it worth noting that while Red is as smart as a very smart dog, she isn't any smarter than that with all the issues from which that might arrive.
Now I've gotta do something up for this.

Magpies. Over here. anyone (usually female) who is all obsessive with expensive, shiny things is called a magpie. Also, seeing a single magpie is considered bad luck, while seeing two is lucky. And having lived near magpies all my life I can also tell you that they are bloody loud!
Little Miss Whiskers
The students were unusually hushed as the professor placed the small, white kitten in the metal box. Some shuffled uncomfortably at the lid closed, silencing it's plaintive mewling. Amber sat in the third row, arms folded, unwilling to interrupt but radiating disapproval all the same.
"Within this chamber" the Professor announced grandly "I have placed a miniscule amount of radioative material."
The students shuffled nervously. Someone near the back whispered "Dude! He's making mutant kitties!" Amber rolled her eyes.
"A sample so miniscule" the Professor intoned "that it is probable the material has decayed. It is, however, equally improbable that it has not. If it has decayed, then I'm afraid our feline friend will shortly no longer be with us. If not, one of you will be leaving with a new pet."
There was utter silence in the lecture hall. The Professor smiled. He had them now.
"In just a moment, I shall press this button on the side of the chamber. If the sample has decayed, a poison will be released which will kill the kitten - quite painlessly I assure you. If the sample has not decayed, and the geigher counter is functioning as it should, then the kitten will be spared."
Before anyone could object, the Professor pressed the button. The students gasped as the buzzer sounded, it's red light blinking.
"Yes, yes" he said above the murmering "It is quite too late for human interference. But it is not yet too late for our little scientific partner. Until we open the chamber and look, how can we know if the kitten is alive or dead? Indeed, until we open the box, is the kitten not both alive and dead?"
He paused, watching their faces.
In the chamber, the kitten mewled loudly. The students laughed.
Sighing, the Professor asked "Would anyone like a kitten?"
Amber's hand shot up. The bell rang just a she retrieved the hungry little kitten from the box. While she snuggled the little thing she glanced inside. Behind a glass panel she saw a hammer connected to a geigher counter, hovering over a phial of dark liquid. She glanced at the Professor.
"One cannot be a scientist by halves, Miss Washington. There is a reason we call it a discipline."
Amber gave him an unfriendly look before turning back to the kitten. "Whooza widdle fuzzy den!" she cooed. "Oh! What unusual eyes she has!"
"Mmm?" The Professor turned and inspected the kitten. "Mmm, yes they are quite remarkable." He felt slightly uncomfortable. He couldn't recall much about the kitten before the experiment, but he was surprised he hadn't noticed it's eyes were two different colours...
Schrodinger's Cat
Little Miss Whiskers is a small, grey-white kitten with a sweet temperment, odd coloured eyes and the ability to alter probability.
Little Miss Whiskers is unaware of this ability (SHE'S A KITTEN!) and unable to control it (although she does encounter milk and balls of string with far more frequency than the average kitten.)
Since her ability stems from the principals of order and chaos, Little Miss Whiskers has had a profound effect on the environment around her. Amber's dorm building has become the equinox point, an area where alternative realities overlap, intertwine and, occasionally, mingle. This has attracted the attention of The Accountants, drab grey gentlemen who are often seen knocking on the walls of the building at odd hours, punching numbers into their calculators and tutting. It has also attracted the attention of several creatures of chaos, who find the fluctuations in the laws of physics appealing and are hoping to have some fun.
Amber Washington (19, Vegan, Aquarian on the cusp of Pisces) is aware that very strange things happen around her cute little kitten. Since these events usually work out in Amber's favour, she has decided that her passionate devotion to Wicca is finally paying off and that Little Miss Whiskers is her familiar.
