    Just read the first issue, it looks interesting. Definatly getting number 2.

    The first issue doesnt really explain any back story just pushes you into the view point of the protagonist n his view of a world he knows little about. Got a erie quality to it.

    Nobody read this?

    Yeah, summaries are a good thing to induce people to talk about the concept if nothing else

    fair enough heres the offical summary;

    "After being raised in total isolation, Gus – a boy born with deer-like antlers – is left to survive in an American landscape devastated a decade earlier by an inexplicable pandemic.

    Enter Jepperd, a violent, hulking drifter who soon takes in Gus and promises to lead him to "The Preserve," a fabled safe-haven for hybrid children."

    (edit): o and the tag line from a magazine i read was;

    A little boy with antlers
    A big man with guns
    A world without hope

    Looks alright based on this preview of #1, but I'd need to know more about where the story is going to commit to it.

    The guy with guns looks like he might be cool. But Bambi Boy seems pretty awful. I'm surprised this is a Vertigo book.
