I really think that the quality of the presentation of this game is what makes it so delightful. I think that if you have a general enjoyment of music, and a general appreciation of comedy, then this game will be enjoyable and well worth your money.
I feel like if I were going to try to introduce someone into the wonderful world of metal, this game would be the first textbook. In fact, there are many facets of metal that I never really even considered the idea that I could enjoy them, but through hearing them come up in the deuce and during other parts of gameplay I've found myself looking into more music of that sub-genre.
Something I read in a review that seems right is - what's awesome about the game is the setting, presentation and comedy can be taken two ways. If you love metal, the game is a great tribute to the genre and you'll have a blast. If you don't much like metal, then you can equally see it as a giant piss take of the genre, and you'll have a blast.

God damn this side quest is brutal. Can't manage to find a way to get the beer kegs to the beach.
It's not that bad. The beer will settle so it doesn't explode off the back of the Duece if you find a nice flat piece of land. Just try not to hit too many big bumps.

Follow the course laid out, and try to keep things steady. You shouldn't need to use the nitro at all, and when they start to fizz keep it as straight and bump-less as possible.

I bought this yesterday and fully endorse the thread title. This game is a huge slice of awesome. Hell, I played it for about 2 hours without even realising I was playing it that long, and no game in the past few years has done that. I always get frustrated, bored, or annoyed at something. I just played this, giggling like a little girl at the Metal jokes, getting lost in the mythology (finding the stones that give you the history of the world is an awesome touch) and having fun with the combat and RTS gameplay.
This is so true. While the game isn't perfect, I can't think of one I've enjoyed more in quite a long time.
When is it customary to start a new thread? The current was sent through an OP and limited to 8000 characters. I have more. A lot more. I also have plans for a Multiplayer guide.

i'm stuck in the mission "Regrets Infinite Mire," it's an escort mission:
i'm at the point where the tour bus blocked by 3 statues of the metal beasts and i see the giant guillotine over it, but i don't know how to get it to drop. any help?

There is another path that leads around it, you have to go it alone without the bus.

Pokemon Safari - Sneasel, Pawniard, ????
Is that the one with
?
If so, about how far into the game is that quest? I've wanted to do it since I read about it.
Ahaha, I loved that in the story. 'I'll call us Ironhead! But with an 'e' on the end so they know we're not messing around.'

Now I have to wait a week.
Although next week I see Mastodon/ Dethklok sponsored by this game.
Next week will be metal.
I hate when people make a new thread and don't link to it in the old one. So annoying. Don't you agree?
