    Funny, but would work better without panel 5.. But then it'd be a 5 panel comic and that doesn't really fit neatly on a page. But hey. Funny.

    but after that i'll retool the 5th panel to make the impending wolf slightly less obvious

    You could break the first panel into two panels...and then just omit the 5th panel completely?

    Thinking about that, I like the way that would look too- with the guy blowing the wistle and then immediately the wolf breaks through. No elevation change, just your eye immediately seeing the consequent.
