I've always wondered why bookstores let you just sit there and read whole books. I mean a lot of kids go into the pack and just read manga after manga and never buy any of it.

Because it promotes a certain culture around the book store. Those kids are likely not to have the cash to buy every single volume, but being enculturated into books will make them valuable customers later on.
Pretty much every I've known to bum around bookstores, including myself, spends cash on books anyway.

The worst is when those cretins sit right in the fucking middle of the aisle.
This wouldn't be so bad if the comics weren't next to the manga.
Or if they just removed manga from bookstores, or put it in it's own shops.
Like, a porn shop. But for Manga. So it's a manga shop because all they sell is Manga.
And when your friends see you walking out of it they can point at you and laugh and call you names.
In regards to the new apple mouse, sorry, I still like the tactile feel of buttons.
Yeah, same.
I can get behind the button-less laptop pads, but I really need the audible and physical feedback mouse buttons provide.
Same reason I could never really be comfortable on anything with a touch-screen keyboard.

It is sooo soft. Once I have some extra money, I want to make a quilt with pieces from the Far, Far Away line. Her other stuff is really good too. The banana seat bicycle one and the gnome fabric are adorable.

I love you. Thank you for being as obsessed with her as I am.

So how about Barnes and Noble's new ebook reader, the Nook?
Looks pretty damn cool, to me.
Every time someone mentions it by name
all I think about
Is that fucking Raccoon.
Better name than the Kindle
I'll have to check this out. I've been enjoying my Sony Reader so far because FREE GOOGLE BOOKS. Also the fact that probably only a handful of other people in the country own one, since they aren't sold in or officially shipped to Australia. 8-)
I might get that new Apple mouse at some point if I ever find myself needing something beyond a trackpad. I've got an old wired Mighty Mouse that I take out of the drawer from time to time, but I don't like the flimsiness of the tiny little scroll ball on the top.

Google or search etsy for Heather Ross (fabric/graphic designer) Far Far Away (the line). It's expensive though. Like 17.00/yd.

Hangin' out in H&A. I wanted to help people but then I realized I have an English degree, which doesn't really help anyone.
Hi! Who knew SE++ would bring us together?
